It was very quiet, and comfortable staying at the Inn.
Too bad no restaurant was open for the business, but we understandable due to the Christmas.

the location was only a few blocks from downtown. The room was small but certainly adequate. Enjoyed the jacuzzi tub.

Offers all lotions, soaps, conditioners, etc with lavender scent. Some of us can't use lavender. The scent is offensive to all when it's on my skin.
Ice machine needs to be in a different room than the laundry room so it can have longer hours (to accommodate late evening events and, therefore, a later return to Earthbox).

Where we love our local, organic body care products from the Pelindaba Lavender Farm, we understand that some people don't like the smell or are allergic. We remove the lavender product dispensers from our guest rooms and provide alternative body care products upon request. Just let us know beforehand next time, yes? We can't wait for you to come back soon!
Cons:Since rooms have no AC or windows that can be left open and still be secure, ceiling fans or portable fans would be a great improvement.
Location:Walking distance to Friday Harbor ferry, shops, and restaurants. Easy access to other locations on the island.
This is a completely ordinary motel room that has been refurbished. Although the motel is associated with a spa, there is nothing spa-like about the rooms.
It was clean and tidy and centrally located; beds were comfortable; bathroom was smaller than average. Room was functional, with a microwave and frig, but very expensive for what you get. This is true of most of SJI as far as I have seen though and I'm not sure anywhere else offers a better value. Just don't expect much.
Like many places on the island, it has no air conditioning and in our case the room was very hot and stuffy. The outside air was cool, but the only window opened onto a public walkway, so we did not feel comfortable leaving it open to sleep at night. There are no ceiling fans or other way to move the air.

We are so proud that we were able to keep the old motor inn feel and transform it into a comfortable place with modern amenities, instead of tearing it down and building a cookie cutter hotel. We are so sorry it didn't meet your expectations.
We provide fans in all our rooms and have several with A/C. Please come back some time and let us place you in a room with A/C or a different window set-up (just to ease your mind, Friday Harbor is the safest town I know, we never had any issues with leaving the windows open) We have six room styles and are confident we have the room to make your stay comfortable and lovely. Please come back and let us spoil and pamper you like we indented.
