Olde Gatlinburg Place Condominiums is located in downtown Gatlinburg just a little over 1 block from the Main Parkway. It's a short walk to Ripley's Aquarium of the Smokies and the Mountain Mall. The complex has a heated seasonal outdoor pool with hot tub. It also offers free wireless internet. This unit is a one bedroom with a queen bed in the bedroom. It also has a queen size sofa bed in the living room. The kitchenette consists of a full size refrigerator, microwave, Coffee Maker, and an apartment style 4 burner range stove with oven.

Bait and switch

This review is not actually for the property that was listed since they switched us to a different building that was further away more rundown and I would say it was just a one time thing except the people in the room next to us had the same thing happened to them I believe that they advertise the rooms in this building and then switch you to a different building that is unsatisfactory and further away because they have a harder time renting the rooms for that building

Perfect Spot for a Gatlinburg Getaway

I was looking for a spot to get away for a few days as a bit of a sabbatical and mental recharge, and this place was the perfect place. I'm a photographer and wanted easy access to the National Park. Since this is on a bit of a downtown bypass, it made getting to the Park in the mornings a breeze. It is off the beaten path enough for you to feel the quiet, but is super close to many things downtown - if you desire. It was super clean and came with just enough amenities to make me feel comfortable right off the bat. The small kitchen is great for making a lunch after a morning hike. It's nice that it is on the top floor so you don't have people above you - makes for pretty quiet nights. It's not the most up-to-date, but, like I said, I is super clean and the location is perfect. You can get up to Newfound Gap in just over 35 minutes and Roaring Fork Motor trail is 2 min up the road. The front desk staff was great when I needed a parking pass, and parking was a breeze. A few things of note, although they do provide you with a few basic amenities, bring your shampoo, as that is not provided (I learned that the hard way). Also, the internet is available, but is relatively slow - so if you're looking to work while you are there - you may want to pass and just enjoy the views. Overall, I'll stay here again as it was a super spot to basecamp while you are enjoying the National Park or all the things Gatlinburg has to offer!

Great Location!

This is an older complex but is in a great location. Took us less than 5 minutes to walk to the main strip of Gatlinburg. Bed was comfortable. Nice little kitchen but we didn't use it. We will definitely stay here again in the future.

Great location! Excellent little condo!

Terrific experience! Only mark down was that owners do not respond to automated emails from VRBO site. You must contact directly. But even so, the experience and the site were amazing! I will definitely be coming back! Have a wonderful day!
