We loved the river behind the hotel.First night we saw a black bear there walking in the river.Our room was big and beautiful and they had a great hot breakfast.The staff was very nice.The price was really good

Upon check in the room floor was not cleaned. It was never vacuumed. Had to ask for it to be cleaned. All cleaning personnel were gone, maintenance man used a broom and dust pan. Smell started in the room around day 2 and only kept getting worse. Couldn’t figure out where it was coming from. Only ever one person at the desk, it super friendly or helpful. River view was nice, room was big (only plus about the room). Property is not well kept up with. Location is good. Quiet, end of town toward park entrance. Walkable to most places.

Just ok

Pros - Service was great. Balcony was great, right on the river. Room was very spacious. Bed was comfortable. Room was clean. Cons - Room reeked of mildew. Shower floor and bathroom floor was level with each other so when I showered the first time, water stood in the bathroom floor and ran under the door into the room. Had to use towels to soak it all up. That might have been the reason for the mildew smell. This design could have just been for the handicap accessible rooms, Im not sure. Had to be very careful with the shower for this not to happen again.

My family and I stayed here for one night. The rooms are pretty spacious. It’s an open concept with minor walls separating it. There is a balcony with a nice flowing creek. Some cons were how hard it was to open the door to the room, the cracks and paint chips in the bathroom and the dirty ceiling. Breakfast was okay. I love how close it was the boardwalk.

Great place for the price

Stayed here 5 nights, first room had a bad A/C smell to it but they changed our room right away. Has a nice free breakfast. Auto pancake maker, eggs sausage, bacon,pastries, cereal, juice etc... Rooms all have balconies overlooking river. Paid under $500 with tax and fees for 5 nights.

Property looks and feels old comparing with other newer hotel chains, however, the property is well maintained. Property’s stuff is friendly and willing to help out with any issues you may have. We booked one king bed room suite.There was one major inconvenience, we had to share the balcony with our neighbor and that was a bummer. If it was mentioned in the description of the room I would have not booked it. Will not revisit this place again in the future. Thanks.

It is definitely not fancy..but it was clean and very reasonably priced. I would stay there again. Gatlinburg prices are OUTRAGEOUS so any chance i getvto save money i will!

What's the point in making reservations?When you can't get the room you reserved when you get there, reserved a queen suite, three hours into our drive there i got called and told I would have to be moved to a standard, you try staying in a room for 4 days with 3 adults and 2 children. Never again
