Family trip

Me and my family took a trip up to Gatlinburg with one of Bob bugs cabin and it was a great experience. They had an upstairs plenty of room for the kids to play and the hot tub worked as described and was clean and had new water pumped in it Prior to us coming, stay there if you want a good food and experience and somewhere nice to stay

Good location

The listing is accurate, but the housing needs some cleaning and additional details to make it cozier. The reason why the location is not perfect is that the line to the parking on the sky slope blocks the entrance and you can be over an 1h in traffic (new year's week) just to reach your parking lot. House was only ready at 5:30pm, not 4pm.

The property overall was good. The hot tub didn't work but after a bear encounter, I was good with not using it anyway. The pool situation is a little weird because there are a number of pools you can use, but they are off property. The property is a little dated but it works great for what it is.

It was fine

The place needs upgrading in a bad way. The carpet felt disgusting. The top bunk was dirty and I had to have someone come clean it. All the tv were either SLOW or didn’t work. The land line wasn’t hooked up and didn’t work. We couldn’t turn the hot tub on and someone had to come fix it. Theirs also a big ant problem. Other than that the location is good.

Family Vacation

It was a great location to either the park or the city. There were 3 different pools you were able to go to. It was fairly clean overall. The only issue we had was there was a time we were returning back and there was staff in the chalet with the door open. They said we had requested items that we did not.

Not so Hot

The cabin is definitely right off ski mountain road so much so that while in bed you can hear the road noise. When we arrived we immediately noticed that the front door did not shut tightly which constantly let cold air rush in. We ended up putting a towel under the door to try and warm it up. Although the thermostat was on 70 it did not get above 68 which we figured was due to all the air we could feel from the windows. The cabin needs a good cleaning to get rid of all the cobwebs and past candy dropped. The shower for some reason would never get as warm as the faucet but you can forget taking a hot bath because the tub has no way to prevent the water from draining. We never used the hot tub because it was cold. The correct temperature was set but it was tool cool to enjoy. It was also crammed into a corner with the parking right above it. It was easy to check out but instead of having your own trash can outside you must use the dumpster at the row of parking. It definitely needs cleaning and a few things fixed but besides the sketchy parking lot it was close to downtown Gatlinburg.
