Only 4 miles to Townsend where you will find grocery stores, restaurants, river access, churches, horseback riding and river tubing, along with motorcycle and street legal UTV rentals. There are always activities at the visitor center like hot air balloons, club meets, lumberjack competitions or music festivals. There are so many wonderful things to explore, come stay with us and experience the very best the peaceful side of the Smokies has to offer. Home was as described and like pictures provided. We enjoyed our stay. The sheets on the twin bed, as well as the pillowcase, did not appear to have been washed prior to our arrival. That was our only issue, other than the bear visitor. Don’t put trash out until you leave!

Absolutely wonderful location, scenery, completely as advertised. Comfortable and cozy. We enjoyed the front porch with the swing, watching the squirrels, chipmunks, birds and our little lizard friend. It had everything we needed for a memorable girls weekend. Just male sure if your people use alot of ice to purchase a bag of ice to put in the freezer. We did fine with the ice trays so it was not an issue for us! Wifi service was great but cellular service is spotty in the entire area of Townsend. If youre looking for a quiet place to disconnect and enjoy nature and scenery, this is your place.
