We arrive on Tuedays Oct 21st nearly 5pm afyer 9 hours drive from Florida. I receptionist was not on her table . There were 2 people waiting. When she arrived, i was given my key for the room at 215. When we arrived, the smell was terrible. The bathroom smells like a dried sweat . The towels is obviously not fresh clean. The floor was dirty. The door can not be closed. I reported it . The receptionist says i should slma harder as wood expands when it rains. We did it . We almost break the door. I was disappointed with her lack of concern to the guests. I initially planned to extend my stay until Saturday, i decided to make an early check out the next day asbi feel unsafe with the door can not be closed well and the stink odor of the room.

Upon entering the room I was immediately met with a musty dirty smell and the room was so humid the bedding felt damp. The chair in the corner was covered in stains. I had to take the top bedding off because it was literally ripped up and in terrible shape. The ceiling tile in the bathroom was failing in. The outlet to plug your phone or anything in didn’t even have an outlet cover so we had to be careful not to electrocute ourselves when plugging something in. The floors were so dirty we had to wear socks because the bottom of our feet turned black, and it was laminate so it could be cleaned properly but it wasn’t. The tv had a green line down it on every channel. The pillows are tiny, they are about half the size of a standard pillow so bring your own! There was a Kureig in the room but no cups or pods provided. My mother in laws room was the same way so it wasn’t just our room unfortunately. I reported it to the front desk and they said they had no other rooms available and unfortunately most of the rooms in town were full so we had to stay.

Had to wait 30 minutes to check in because there was no one in the office working. I was in the process of getting a refund online when the staff finally arrived. Other than that, it was a nice stay.

Good balcony. Comfortable bed. Easy walk to the main strip in Gatlinburg. Easy parking. Some outlets didn’t work and there were stains on the top layer of bedding and the fabric chair.

Close enough to everything Gatlinburg has to offer but far enough away that it is nice and quiet. Remodeled rooms right on the creek with a private balcony made this a great getaway with very fair prices especially for a tourist area.

The views from the balcony were beautiful and it was very calming listening to the sound of the flowing water. Overall the room was relatively clean, the water pressure was great and the staff was friendly and helpful. The building could use some updates but overall a good experience. Extra bonus, We were able to see a bear from the parking lot.

Extremely dirty and uncleaned room

When we walked in there was fresh urine on the toilet seat, towels that clearly hadn’t been washed, and hair in the bed. The hotel was too full to switch rooms so the night shift staff gave us clean towels and sheets and cleaning supplies. There was also a really loud noisy that came on throughout the night I think from the mini fridge. Otherwise the room was ok and we enjoyed the view and sound of the river from the balcony.

The balcony looked right into the creek where you could see fish, and even a bear came by in late afternoon/early evening. The room was clean and supplied soap/shower gel/shampoo; hair dryer, ironing board, Keurig. We felt safe here & it was relatively close to the shopping area. Beds were comfy, darkening curtains made for a peaceful night's rest. Shower was hot. Ample parking.

The room was clean, but old. The beds were comfortable. There was a desk chair, but no desk and my husband needed to do some work so that was not good at all. Plus the internet was up and down. All that said, the view from the balcony was very relaxing because there's a little stream right there. It was very pleasant to sit out there. The best part? The bear (about a year old cub) that meandered by right in front of us beyond the railing! It was so AMAZING!!! That made the other stuff tolerable!

Great piece log but needs to CAN USE A LIL IMPROVE

The balcony view was very calming but I really think while you’re staying. They should come in and freshen your room up and change linening and pass a broom and a mop. We was there for a week and they didn’t and don’t do that!

Solo female traveller stayed 1 night. hotel is cute but basic, no frills here. but the reason to stay here is for the balcony views over babbling creek. if you're lucky, you will see the black bears meander to walk along the creek! PRICELESS!!! Main downtown is very easily walkable and safe. definitely recommend for good low budget stay
