Their place was one of the cleanest rental cabins we have ever been, the house is in a great location with beautiful surroundings, the check in and check out was extremely easy for a family with little kids, loved the place and we hope to be back!
Calm and clean home. We were even there for a snowstorm and we enjoyed playing on the deck. Lovely people plowed so we were able to get in and out safely and easily.
Our stay was relaxing and refreshing. The house is comfy and cozy but also designed with adjoining bathrooms for the bedrooms so that guests can have privacy if needed. We found the house well-stocked with everything we needed to stay at home to eat. It was a short walk to the downtown area and our only concern was that some areas did not have sidewalks. We really enjoyed our stay!
Canât say enough about this beautiful home. Warm and inviting and so perfectly appointed for a stay. Bedrooms are lovely with plush bedding. Fluffy towels in the bathrooms. Well stocked kitchen and a great welcome book to maximize your stay! We loved it! Thanks to the owners for communication and making check-in/check-out so easy!
Entire house, including bathrooms were very clean. Open, airy and private as advertised. Decks on the East and South great for relaxing and eating. Only minor downside is that the limited shoulders on Alford road require extreme caution if walking to town. Not a problem for cyclists, however. We have vacationed in the Berkshires for over 35 years. This property rates in our top 1-2%.
The house was very spacious, beautifully designed, and aesthetically pleasing. The location was perfect. It was great for my family, accommodating three generations comfortably. However, the toilet amenities like bath tissue, shampoo, and body wash were of very cheap brands. The jet bathtub didn't drain, and although I asked the host to fix it, it took a couple of days to resolve. The house was generally very clean, but there were hairs and other debris in drawers that were not immediately visible. The host asked me to run the dishwasher by 9:30 AM, which I didn't quite understand given the check-out time was 11 AM. The payment was split into two transactions: a small portion when I booked the house and the rest upon arrival. However, the second transaction was not categorized as travel on my credit card, unlike the first, which meant I missed out on extra cashback.
