My friend and I came up to do some biking on the C&O and western Maryland rail trail, and to also do some hiking! Weather was perfect and the cozy cabin fit all our needs perfectly!. Very cutely decoratedâŠCleanâŠBeautiful views. The host even invited us for dinner one night if we wanted to join them! Check in was easy and there was even a few snacks and waters provided. All very thoughtful gestures. We were warned that there was a two mile stretch of rougher road leading up to the cabin but had no issues driving my Toyota highlander up the mountain. We had a great time and hope to be back! It was a great weekend getaway!
I came up for a relaxing weekend stay after my midterms and it was wonderful. The host, Deborah, met me on arrival and gave a quick little five minute tour of the place. Everything is exactly as advertised, and, if not for the trees, the view would be incredible as well. Luckily, there was a night where renters in the above Hawks Nest werenât there and Deborah allowed me to walk up and enjoy the sunset view from their deck which made my night. My one nitpick (and itâs definitely a nitpick, not a complaint) is that the hot water didnât seem to last very long at all. It is a 6 gallon tank, so I knew showers had to be quick, but I didnât realize just how quick (the hot water runs out after about a minute). I highly recommend this stay for a solo trip or couples trip.
We spent a weekend at this beautiful and cozy cabin, which provided a quiet and relaxing retreat. There are several hiking spots in the area, located about 30 to 45 minutes away by car, making it perfect for outdoor enthusiasts. I highly recommend this cabin for anyone seeking a peaceful getaway. Debbie was an excellent hostâalways responsive and eager to assist. Checking in was super easy.
