Mermaid Cove - Three Bedroom Villa, Sleeps 7

This 3 bedroom 2.5 bath has it all! Pool, walking distance to town, and is a waterfront property that has amazing views of Mt. Baldy and Kalamazoo Harbor. All of this plus a gourmet kithcen, two outdoor decks overlooking Kalamazoo Lake and is one of only two stand alone townhouses on the water in Saugatuck Harbor Resort. This cottage also has two fireplaces with top of the line finishes throughout. Whether it is prime summertime where you can enjoy the pool or the beauty of Saugautck in the offseason where you can walk to town and enjoy the beuty of the fall colors or the winter snow and all of the ametities of the downtown. Walk to all the restauratnts, breweries, galleries and shops that Saugatuck and Douglas has to offer. The first bedroom is a master suite with a queen bed, fireplace, tv, fireplace, ensuite full bath with a walk in shower, and large balcony deck overlooking the Harbor. The second bedroom has a queen bed. The third bedroom has a bunk bed with a twin on the top and a full on the bottom. This brings the total capacity to 7 guests. All the bedrooms have new mattresses in 2019. The second full bath is also on the second floor with a shower/tub combo. There is a half bath as well as a laundry room on the first floor. This stand alone townhouse truly has it all.

By renting this cottage you are agreeing to the following Rental Rules:

(RULES ARE STRICTLY ENFORCED)

1.) No smoking. All of our rentals are non-smoking.
2.) You and your guests are using our home at your own risk. We nor the owner of the property will be held responsible for any injuries that occur at the vacation rental or for any lost or stolen items. Any boats used on the property require life jackets be worn and are used at your own risk.
3.) No boats or trailers are to be parked at our rental properties. Tents of any kind are not allowed. There is parking for 2 cars in front of cottage. Any more than 2 cars the association will have them towed. You can NOT park anywhere else on the property, only two cars in front of the cottage.
4.) Do not move the furniture or take anything (including plates, dishes, silverware, etc.) out of the cottage it belongs to our you will be charged.
5.) Each cottage has a maximum number of guests that is listed on this contract you must verify that it is correct. That number is not to be exceeded - this includes children and adults. For fire safety, we are required to limit the number in each home. If additional people are found to be staying at the cottage the entire group will be asked to vacate with no refund. Inflatable mattresses or alternative sleeping other than pack n plays or cribs are not allowed. Tents are also not allowed on the property.
6.) Pets are not permitted. If a pet is on the property then there will be a $1500 fee and it will be required that the owner board the pet immediately.
7.) Damages are to be reported during your stay. If we find damage after you vacate, you authorize the charge to your credit card for replacement or repair or provide another credit card number, pay by cash or check. Damages reported upon arrival will not be guests' responsibility.
8.) Cleaners will come to the cottage after you have departed - they will not visit to clean, change linens, or replace towels during your stay. Please contact the office should you need assistance during your stay regarding any cleaning items.
9.) Grills are to be cleaned after each use.
10.) Quiet time is after 10pm nightly. We do not tolerate loud groups and college like parties anytime of the day or night. No drinking games allowed on the property. Neighbors must NOT hear you inside or outside the cottage after 10pm.
11.) You are at least 25 years old and will be able to verify with valid identification during your stay if needed.
12.) Weddings, Bachelor, Bachelorette Parties and formal events are NOT permitted on our properties, if there is found to be a formal event on the property the entire group will be asked to vacate the property with a no refund. It is not acceptable to have a visitors during the DAY OR NIGHT hours due to fire code. Only the 7 guests staying overnight in the cottage can use the cottage, pool and outdoor amenities of the cottage.
13.) Pool/beach towels are NOT provided. You will need to bring them. Do not use bath towels at the pool or beach or extra charges will be added to your stay.
14.) This is a private pool and there is no Life Guard on duty at the pool. All children must be attended at all times. Swim at your own risk. Pool is open from Memorial Day to through Labor Day weekend.
15.) Gas fireplace is available in the fall/winter months only.
16.) Fireworks are prohibited on property at all times.
17.) Current guests may enjoy the seawall, however the docks are for use of owners of the townhouses only.

These rules are strictly enforced due to NEW city and township ordinances. This contract is the only warning you will get. If any rules are not followed all local fines, security deposits and any other charges will be charged to guest and the entire group will be asked to vacate the property. This communication is necessary so that your vacation experience is a good one for your group and our neighboring community. Please ENJOY
