Check-in was fast, easy, and very efficient. The room itself was clean and offered plenty of space, which was appreciated, especially for a family stay. However, there were several issues that affected the overall experience. The carpet in the room had visible paint stains, which detracted from the otherwise clean appearance. More importantly, the heater in the living room area did not blow hot air. While the bedroom heater worked, the temperature difference was noticeable. I informed the front desk and was offered another room, but it had the same heating issue, so we chose not to move. The staff did bring up a small portable heater, but it was not sufficient for the size of the room, and the kids ended up being cold while sleeping in the living room. Another disappointment was that the hot tub was out of order. I specifically chose this hotel for both the pool and hot tub after a long day playing in the snow, so this was a significant letdown. Breakfast was adequate, but the sausage and meat items were overcooked and dried out. Overall, the staff and crew were very helpful and genuinely tried to address the issues, which I appreciated. That said, it seemed that many of the problems were related to the condition of the facility itself, which appears to be in need of maintenance and updates.

It is a great hotel. My wife said it was the best bed shebhas slept on. It is pretty quiet with a great breakfast. Worth spending a few more dollars.

We had to find this and stay last minute because of local flooding prevented us from getting home. We were pleasantly surprised and had a very comfortable stay. Loved the happy hour! Kids had burgers, fries and soda and I had a great salad and glass of wine. Our stay here turned a stressful situation into a very pleasant evening
