Great cabin for ADK hiking

We stayed here for a week in July. 30-40 minutes from ADK Loj and Garden parking lots. Beautiful pine forest. We enjoyed the hot tub after a day of hiking. It was just us as a couple so we stayed in the King up in the loft. It is open to the downstairs so we would have stayed in the downstairs queen if we were there with family. I can see this being a nice place for a family with three kids for a ski trip or hiking adventure.

Wonderful!

Once again, everything was wonderful. House was very clean and had everything we needed for an amazing and restful stay. This is the third time my wife and I have spent our anniversary week at this cabin. We plan on coming back year after year. Thank you.

Amazing place

The place was amazing. It was within a 30 minutes drive of Lake Placid and anything you could want to do. My family loved this place. It is very secluded and had everything we needed. We all loved our stay here.

Spacious, clean, well-appointed

Check in was easy with good communication. Location pretty good-- 10 minutes to Jay (with fabulous covered bridge swimming hole) and Ausable Forks (grocery store) and 15 to Wilmington. House was larger than expected-- could have fit a second family in with ours. House was well-appointed and clean with a few of the little quirks that come from being lived in and enjoyed. Kitchen had every tool you could need for cooking. Love that they provided separate bath towels and beach towels, as we forgot to pack towels for swimming.

Secluded but close to town

Great property for my wife and I. Hot tub overlooking the back yard/forest was very enjoyable. Interior of the cabin is everything you would expect out of a newer ADK cabin. We really enjoyed it all. Also nice that it’s secluded but close to town if you need anything.

Wife’s birthday weekend

The place was all it was advertised. We enjoyed our stay very much and would like to return with our daughter, son in-law and grandson. The hot tub just put it over the top. We have stayed in the area before and this is our new favorite.

Great getaway

The stay was great! The location is just far enough out that you feel woodsy but not secluded. We even had 2 deer come right up to the porch while in the hot tub! Very clean and comfortable. My only suggestions would be more ice cube trays because the ice maker wasn't working and directions for using all of the TV remotes! Otherwise a wonderful stay Thanks!!

A Quiet Place

Nice property. Had all the amenities and was very private. Low effort checking in and out. Just make sure you show up when the sun is up, or the quiet and isolation can make it feel like a horror movie. Had a very pleasant stay.

Great Location

My friends and I wanted to rent a house in the woods for 10 days, to hike and tour around the High Peaks region, and this was the perfect place - half an hour from Lake Placid, Whiteface, and Keene Valley, and 45 minutes from Saranac Lake. The house was clean, comfortable, roomy, and in a very quiet and secluded "neighborhood' (you couldn't see the houses around it, due to the trees), and the hot tub was certainly a great feature! We bought great local meats and cheeses at a farm store 15 minutes away. Stacy was very prompt and helpful in answering any questions we had while we were there. We would highly recommend staying here!

Amazing stay

The host clearly cares for this property. The house was extremely clean and well-kept. We stayed in the winter and the driveway and walkways were all kept clear of snow by the host We had no issues and all guest instructions were reasonable and clearly conveyed. We would love to stay here again
