Step outside and you’ll discover that the property is just as inviting as the home itself. You can enjoy a glass of wine or hot cup of coffee knowing your dogs will love the freedom to safely run, play, and explore the wide-open grounds, and your family and children can enjoy classic outdoor fun with a tire swing and a game of horseshoes under the open sky.

Step into the attached garage and you’ll quickly realize this is so much more than just a place to park the car—it’s a cozy retreat designed for fun, relaxation, and togetherness. Tucked inside, you’ll find a luxurious infrared dry sauna, perfect for unwinding after a day of adventure. It was amazing! So homey and just such a relaxed, well decorated, clean home. We were getting an error message on the hot tub and immediately got a friendly response on how to trouble shoot and get it working for the first night. The house and barn are filled with so many fun activities and so dog friendly… we were bummed we had to go back to reality! It really is so well stocked with everything you could imagine - just bring groceries! Family dinner in the big dining room was so special. We were already talking about when we can make it back up the mountain. Thanks for hosting a memorable trip!

We had another fantastic stay at this charming Julian farmhouse! The host, Courtney is great. She's super helpful and responsive. The property is beautifully maintained with plenty of space for our family and dogs to explore. We loved the tire swing and all the unique antique décor throughout the home, it added so much character and fun. The beds were cozy and all the living spaces immaculate. The peaceful setting made for a truly relaxing getaway. We’d happily stay here again and again and AGAIN!

Wonderful place

We had a really great time. So much to do at the house there is no need to venture outside of the property but when we did we were close to town. The house is so welcoming and cozy. I would love to stay there more often.

The house was so much fun! We love the way it was decorated with antiques and was so warm and inviting! It was my husband’s birthday so, I cooked a turkey with all the fixings. It smelt so good going outside in the cold air on the porch! The barn called The Roost is fabulous and decorated beautifully! Lots to do on this property that is dog friendly. Heat/AC, sauna, Jacuzzi, board games, DVDs, pool table, and so much more! It’s impossible to get bored there! Courtney, who is the host was beyond wonderful and gracious! Our son is disabled and she made sure everything was perfect for our arrival. I can’t wait to go back again to make more memories. Thank you, Courtney!!

Back Again

We stayed here during the summer and liked it so much we wanted to come back in the winter/spring. It was just as wonderful! We loved the fireplace and we were able to use it since it had just snowed and was chilly outside.

Winter get-a-way
