Located just north of Kona International Airport on the sunny Kohala Coast, this home is nestled within the prestigious Mauna Lani Resort. As our guest, you'll enjoy exclusive access to the private Mauna Lani Beach Club.

Stroll through the Kalahuipua‘a Historic Park, home to ancient fishponds and fascinating lava tubes. Explore three miles of secluded shoreline within the resort, including the scenic Ala Kahakai National Historic Trail, which winds past Holoholokai Beach and the Puako Petroglyph Archaeological Preserve. Golf enthusiasts can challenge themselves on two world-class, 18-hole Championship Courses. Plus, you're just moments away from the Shops at Mauna Lani, offering a variety of restaurants, local events, and the convenient Foodland grocery store.

Townhome Overview: This comfortable 1933 sq ft two-story townhome has central air conditioning, 3 bedrooms, 2.5 bath floorplan and offers the tranquility of no neighbors above or below the unit. Private lanai with expansive views of community garden and landscaped common areas. This home comes equipped with everything you need for a relaxing day at the beach including: cooler, beach towels, beach wagon, Tommy Bahama beach chairs, umbrellas, and more.

Living Area: The open floor plan with vaulted ceilings, large windows, and overhead fan make for a relaxing space with a sectional couch and large Smart-TV for your viewing pleasure. There are new Roku TVs in the bedrooms, don't forget to bring your streaming login information. The unit also includes high-speed WIFI internet to keep you connected.

Kitchen: The fully equipped kitchen will put any chef at home when you want to cook in instead of going to a restaurant. Upgraded appliances, granite countertops, and all the tools of the trade await you.

Bedrooms:
#1 The spacious ground floor primary suite features a four-poster king-sized bed, overhead fan with remote control, HD TV, reading area, and direct access to the lanai. The large primary bathroom includes a deep jetted bathtub, standalone shower, dual sinks, skylight, and walk-in closet.
#2 One upstairs bedroom has a king-size bed, HD TV, and overhead fan and access to a full shower/tub bathroom.
#3 The other upstairs bedroom has two twin beds which can be converted to a king with a request, overhead fan, HD TV, and access to a full shower/tub bathroom.

Laundry Room: A laundry room with full-sized washer and dryer is located downstairs next to the kitchen.

Lanai and Grounds: Sliding glass doors open from the living room and the primary bedroom to a private, covered lanai with a built-in Viking gas grill, counter space with a sink, and outdoor dining area. The lanai also features two chaise lounge chairs for relaxing with a good book or maybe a Mai Tai after a day at the beach.

Just a short walk from the lanai across the grass is the Fairways free-form tropical resort pool with a wading area for small children. A beautiful waterfall drops into the hot tub/spa. Outdoor showers, covered BBQ/Picnic areas, and Fitness Center complete the Fairways recreation area.

Continues to be a great stay - this is our 3rd time. The kids love it and feel immediately comfortable. It is perfectly clean - and there is a lot of attention to detail. We have stayed at other rentals, including at Fairways, and this one stands out for attention to detail, cleanliness, thoughtful touches, plenty of supplies. Immaculate! The BEST unit!

I never give 5-star reviews because there are always a few things that could be better about a place. We've been coming to the big island for over a decade and this is by far the best unit we've stayed in. Immaculately CLEAN, not a scuff or spec of dust in sight. A truly well-stocked kitchen with quality items, not dollar store junk.Also the most impressive array of clean, well maintained beach and snorkel gear; truly impressive. They also provide a few books and games for kids, pack-n-plays, even a bassinet. I felt like I was in a nice home, not a rental. Just beautiful. Cannot recommend enough!!

Beautiful place

Very nicely furnished. Kitchen is full of stuff. Best we have ever seen. All appliances are new. Very convince location with walking distances to food, grocery store, coffee, and beach. There is also a private beach, but we have to drive a little to get there.

We loved our stay at 1705 from start to finish. Every detail was anticipated. The house was clean the bedrooms were cozy. It was a wonderful place to come home to after exploring the island. Will definitely stay again and would highly recommend this property. Close to Hapuna beach, Maunakea beach, and the beach club on the property is also excellent.

Hawaii 2022 family vacation

The host did a very nice job accommodating our family vacation. Right as we walked in music was playing, and temperature of the house was nice and cool. All amenities were provided! I was skeptical about cleanliness but the house was so clean, very important due to Covid time . Only thing I didn’t like was that they house thermostat was locked at 74 and not 72 on the sticker. It got humid at times, but they had provided extra fans. Our front door deadbolt ran out of batteries, but we just entered back and forth from the garage. Great location near the market and beaches! Would recommend!

Beautiful house in the perfect location.

Everything was exactly as expected. The fourth time staying on this resort and this was of the nicest house. The gardens off the back lanai were perfect for a nice morning coffee. Super close to the pool as well.

Family vacation.

The unit was very nicely decorated and well stocked. Everything our family with adult children could want. We have stayed in the Mauna Lani resort many times and this was our first stay in Fairways. Conveniently located close to the Fairmont and beautiful petroglyph beach park for sunsets. Property manager was very responsive when we had any concerns. All in all a very enjoyable stay that went by way too quickly.
