Photos and experience were 100%...great location! If you want to be on a resort and party hardy....not this condo! Lovely Condo/Great location

Very well-appointed condo with an upgraded kitchen and new appliances. Great new TV as well. Easy walk to the best snorkel beach, tennis/pickle ball and restaurants at the Auberge. Great condo with an ocean view. Most complete amenities ever in our 8 or 9 stays in HI. Loved having 2 baths. Great lanai. Only downside was a bit hard to find after dark (first night). Bldg letters could be more prominently displayed. After that, perfect.

Heaven in Hawaii

We have probably stayed at the Mauna Lani Terrace Condominiums at least 20 times. This unit was our favorite of all time. It was decorated beautifully but it was also set up the best. It had everything you could possibly want in terms of supplies, toys and comfort. The view was amazing and we are grateful to the owners for making the enitre process flawless. We very much hope to return year after year.

Another wonderful stay in G201

This was our second visit to G201, and we certainly hope to be back. The location within Mauna Lani Resort is wonderful. It's an easy walk to the Beach Club, or to the Auberge hotel, and yet feels incredibly private and peaceful at night. We had the sense of being the only humans for miles around. The views from the lanai are nourishing and beautiful, and the unit itself has everything that a couple might need for a short (or long) trip to the Big Island. Thank you Megan, Lissette and Rick for making this unit available to us once again. We can't wait to return!

Spacious condo near the beach.

The unit has a partial ocean view over pond and pool. From the parking area, it’s a close walk and two sets of stairs to reach. The unit has been mostly updated and has a nice, spacious feel and large balcony. It was well stocked with beach chairs, umbrellas, towels & snorkel gear for the beach. The beach is a 5 minute walk and the beach club cove area is a 10 minute walk. We enjoyed the proximity to the hotels and ate meals at all of them. The little shopping area is a quick drive or 10 minute walk and had good shops and restaurants also. Overall, it was a beautiful area and fun place to stay.

Amazing stay in Puako!!!

We had a great time at this property. The kitchen was newly remodeled, nice and well stocked for cooking in rather than dining out. The view is fantastic, seeing the ponds, pool and ocean from the lanai. The lanai also had nice outdoor furniture, where we had all our meals. We also left the sliding doors open at night to hear the ocean and feel the breeze. A key factor that brought me back from the first trip was how quiet it is. Even at mid-day the pool was nice and relaxing with only a few guests. I took multiple naps under the cabanas in the shade. I will be back again :)

A well-appointed condo in a lovely community

The condo was lovely and was really well-stocked. We did by basic groceries, but the kitchen had olive oil, salt, pepper and spices and a full range of kitchen equipment (including baking pans!) and sharp knives! It's a very short walk to the Mauna Lani hotel with its restaurants and to a lovely, sheltered beach. The pool is well set up and everything is very, very clean. There's a Foodland in the complex (2 minute drive) and it's a very short drive to the lovely white sand beach at Hapuna state park. We came in at night and had to search a little to find the right building, but that was the only thing that was trouble.

November 2023

G201 is such a great fit for us, that we booked it again for 2024. We especially enjoyed the comfortable furniture on the lanai. We had trouble figuring out how to watch Apple TV, but we got it. Property manager was easy to communicate with, I’m sure she would have helped with the TV, if we had needed it. The mattress & sheets were amazingly comfortable. We didn’t see boogie boards or beach chairs anywhere but we didn’t care, and there was a good supply of nice beach towels. This was our second visit to the terraces. We love the location, the walkability to the beach club (& hotel for lunch), the pool is never crowded, the grounds are nicely maintained, and it’s quiet & peaceful.

Dreamy View!

This unit did not disappoint! I can't say enough about how wonderful it was to wake up every morning, pull open the wood shutters and see the view of the ocean, fishpond and palm trees. We spent a lot of our time on the lanai - super comfortable lounge chairs and seating. The unit is spacious and the owner has done some nice upgrades including comfy sofa for tv watching and bed in the master bedroom. We loved the built-in cupboards and wood trim throughout - the unit is older but when it was constructed it was high end and that still comes across. The unit had everything and more that we could need - shampoos, dish detergent, laundry items, basic food stuffs, towels for the beach, beach chairs, etc. Our communication with the owner/property managers went smoothly and they were great to deal with. The proximity of The Terraces to other spots of the Mauna Lani Resort (the Fairmont, Auberge, Napua Restaurant, The Shops, etc.) was ideal. We had a rental car but also walked the shoreline to get to the other resorts which was easy and opened up more restaurant options for us. We have been to the Big Island a number of times but the first time to the Terraces which is now a favourite. My only desire at this spot was if there was a fitness centre on-site although I know I could have used the Mauna Lani Resort one for a fee. Outside of the unit, we did the usual - time spent at Hapuna, Beach 69, Mauna Kea, Kekaha Kai state park, etc. We noted that at Hapuna they have closed the in-person gate security at the front only to replace with one (only one!) parking meter. Line ups over Memorial week was about 30 minutes just to get a ticket. And they have increased the fee from $10 to now include a $5 per person charge. This new system was extremely slow and not user friendly. One reason to enjoy the Ocean Club at Mauna Lani even more which is included with your stay in the unit! Napua Restaurant was fantastic - lunch and dinner - we had great meals and service each time. We ordered the best banana cream pie from Karen (server at Napua) through @cafe.delights - she and her daughter started baking during covid. The Ube crinkle Cookies and banana bread are also supreme. Groceries were easy to come by at the Woodland, Queen's Market and Waikoloa town, etc. Shopping is limited due to covid but slowly the stores are opening back up for more restaurant choices soon. Loved our stay here and love the Big Island!

Excellent Condo

Close to everything we wanted. Easy to work with the host and the condo had nice touches like beach gear.

Mauna Lani Terraces G201

The condo is in an excellent location, walking distance to the Mauna Lani Beach Club and the Auberge Hotel. We particularly enjoyed the back patio overlooking the fish ponds and more distant view of the ocean.
