We invite you to stay in our beautiful slice of Hawaii! Our home is located in THE VILLAGES, a private, gated community near everything! The Villages offers guests maximum comfort and convenience. Our home is walking distance to all of Mauna Lani's amenities and card key access is provided to the newly updated Private Beach Club during your stay.

Our 2,200 sq. ft. home (plus over 600 ft of private balconies and lanai's) was built in the first stage of The Villages.

The unique features of this home compared to other homes in The Villages are:

*One of two units with shared lava rock wall from driveway to front door for added privacy
*Next to and behind one story units versus two story units ensures complete privacy with the added perk of afternoon/evening sun on the lanai!
*Beautiful mountain views from the front on a quiet side street with only 5 homes.
*All upgrades possible during construction of the unit

Enjoy the best of both worlds as you are shielded from the two main roads leading into The Villages by an expansive, raised, tropically landscaped island- Peace of mind with smaller children as only a handful of homes sit on our quiet little street. It's a short 124 yard stroll to The Shops (Farmland Foods gourmet grocery store, Tommy Bahama Cafe, Big Island Taproom and more)

We LOVE the "Lehua" layout with more window walls than any other plan in The Villages. Five huge 8 ft. sliding doors give a inside/outside feeling without the critters. All sliders are screened (unlike Kamilo's sliders-our closest competition. :) The great room expands through a large window-wall pocket door and additional huge slider off the dining room to a spacious lanai and yard, creating a fun, entertaining space.

All kitchen items are top of the line and you will find nothing missing for any size meal you choose to prepare including, stainless steel appliances, GE dishwasher, island with double sink, large Sub-Zero refrigerator, coffee maker, coffee grinder, toaster.

Upstairs, a long private hallway leads to the Cal-king ensuite with it's own screened slider to a private balcony with sitting area. You'll find the entrance to the walk-in closet with built-ins and large bathroom with spacious soaking tub along this hallway.

The Twin ensuite bedroom has two twin beds (can be converted to a king bed upon request) plus a twin size daybed.

The main floor Queen bedroom is a private suite with access to an adjoining bathroom with a walk or roll-in shower.

A pocket door off the 1/2 bath (powder room) reveals a large laundry room with garment hanging bar, complementary laundry soap and beach towels during your stay.

New 2024 smart Flat screen t.v.'s in all rooms along with high speed "WHOLE house/lanai COVERAGE" WIFI.

Two Large sliders (One is a 17 ft. window wall) lead out to the expansive lanai with ample room for the seating area, dining area and kitchen. Beautiful refinished teak dining with comfortable cushioned chairs seats 6-8 people. The outside kitchen includes a built-in barbecue, refrigerator, and sink. The outdoor living room has a cozy loveseat, two chair/ottomans and coffee/side tables.

Opposite the large lanai, two more large sliders lead to a separate private patio off the kitchen/living rooms. Cushioned lounge chairs beckon for napping, morning coffee or a quiet reading spot.

Private Beach club access! Napua (the privated beach clubs wonderful restaurant) has recently undergone a full renovation with newly expanded bar space and additional seating in the restuarant. The Beach Club has added new restrooms for beach goers and a brand new lifeguard stand.

The Villages amenity center is walking distance (short cut at unit 207;) from our place (The Villages has THE WARM POOL in Mauna Lani!)

Hello. First of all, the property was really great and I would consider staying again. For those who might be concerned about the property being close to the shopping center/mall, it is located on the “quiet” side of the mall, where the grocery store is located. The grocery store closes early and there were no issues ever with noise, etc. Additionally, the property is located near the entrance/gate to the community. Initially, I was concerned about this but it turns out that there is a landscaped hill that separates the property from the gate/entrance. Once again, no issues ever with noise, headlights, etc. Keep in mind that there is no view from the property and one has to drive to the beach (or ride the provided bikes). Mahalo for a great property.

Great Location for Everything

We had a great stay! It was large and had more than enough room for 5 adults. It has many spices, bags and oils so you should check before buying. I loved the AC, showers and living room area. They do need to update their microwave and tvs in the upstairs bedrooms. I would definitely stay here again especially with the use of the beach club.

Wonderful stay at the Villages of Mauna Lani

Amazing home in the beautiful gated Villages of Mauna Lani. Four of us had plenty of room to stretch out in this wonderfully appointed two story home. We opted to cook in the spacious kitchen for most of the trip. Plenty of seating for us and another guest family who joined us for dinner a couple of evenings. This home comes with beach access to the private Manua Lani Beach Club. It is perfect for snorkeling or spending a day sunning. The Napua restaurant at the beach club offers cocktails and lunch items and at sunset it transforms into a gourmet restaurant complete with the perfect sunset view. Check in at the home was a breeze and communication was 5 stars with the host! We can't wait to return!

Big Island Christmas Week with a perfect home base

Phenomenal home base for our family of 7 to spend Christmas week on the Big Island. Excellent and prompt communication with the owner leading up to the trip, and a friendly welcome from the host when we arrived. First off, the home was perfect in size, cleanliness and amenities. Loved the outdoor cooking and eating space, kitchen spacious for family meals, and spaces spread out for everyone to take a break from forced family fun time :D Access to the beach club was great (and enjoyed walking down there in the mornings through the lava park by the ponds), and the shops at Mauna Lani (especially the grocery store a few steps away) were super convenient for food, coffee, and the extra outdoor clothing/items which teenagers tend to forget to pack. Location was quiet, peaceful and beautiful, and the short drive access down into town was perfect. Was hard to leave at the end of our trip - amazing property!

Absolute Perfection!

This was our first stay on the Big Island. We had originally booked on Maui but then the fire happened and our home was needed to house displaced families so we switched to this island. We were so happy to find this place because it was similar to what we had booked on Maui. We were a family of 6 adults and wanted space to spread out and this was it! Kathryn was fabulous - we arrived late on Thanksgiving night and she was willing to purchase some frozen pizzas and POG for us to leave in the fridge because everything would be closed and we'd be starving when we arrived. But, there is an upscale Food Land literally next door that opened at 6 am the next day so it as easy to get food for breakfast. The house was clean and comfortable. We loved that every bedroom was an ensuite. The beds were very comfy and the air conditioning worked great with separate upstairs and downstairs units. The kitchen was very well equipped and after a run to Costco, we cooked a couple of meals a day at the house. We loved the walls of sliding glass. It was lovely to open them in the morning and evening and catch cross breezes. Bonus that they all had screens to keep the critters out but let the breeze in. We loved this house and the host was the best. I'm a travel agent and will recommend it 100% to anyone looking for a great stay on the Big Island!

Wonderful stay at a great property and perfect location in paradise

Our family of 5 had a terrific stay in this high-end property. We loved its location in the Mauna Lani resort, in direct walking distance to shops and restaurants, and with a great private beach club and pool too. The property itself was well-stocked with all needed amenities and many extras.

This is our second year renting this beautiful home! The owners and property managers are incredibly responsive and helpful. The house is located so close to beaches, shops and restaurants and yet so quiet and private. Love, love this place.

Our first time staying in Mauna Lani and this property was outstanding. Very well stocked and in an excellent location! Access to the beach in Mauna Lani and an outstanding pool for our grandkids were two of the highlights! Kathryn was incredibly responsive and one of the best owners we have every dealt with in all of the years we have rented property in Hawaii and in other parts of the world. We will be back!

Adventure in Paradise

Our goal was to find a place to thoroughly relax and enjoy Hawaii and we found the perfect place to do it. It was a last minute change and super glad we were able to rent this house. Big enough to spread out and super comfy for all 5 of us to hang together as a family. When we come back we definitely want to stay here. It is a bit of a drive out of Kona, but is nice to be away from all of that. Plus, with access to the private beach, we didn’t need much else. Shopping is a short walk away so everything one needs is right here.

Our family of 6, loved our time here. The property was quiet and peaceful. It was the perfect setting for a family getaway with plenty of places to gather and enjoy our vacation. The bedrooms were large and comfortable, the kitchen well equipped, and the patio was the perfect place to start and end the day. We are immensely grateful to have had the chance to stay here and enjoy this beautiful island.

So relaxing

We loved staying at this rental. The kitchen had everything we needed, garage had all the stuff for the beach(6 chairs, 3 umbrellas, sand toys, 3 big boogie boards, noodles, and more). I loved the proximity to the shopping. Our multiple grocery store runs were 2 minutes away! The beds were so comfortable and I slept like a baby!
