There is no reason to stay at this hotel. The advertised valet parking is not available. We stayed 3 nights and the room was supposed to be cleaned on night 2 which did not happen so we had to get our own towels from the desk. There was no concern about our inconvenience. There isn’t even cheap complimentary coffee in the lobby to grab for breakfast so you’ll be stuck with the dirty coffeemaker in your room unless you want to pay for burnt Starbucks onsite. We stayed there for a stockshow, meaning that without the advertised valet service we were expected to park our large truck in their narrow garage in the middle of road construction using the designated “oversized vehicle only” parking spots. Except there is no oversight at all in the garage and the very few “oversized” spots were all taken by sedans and minivans so we got to drive around in road construction at 11pm trying to find a safe place to park. Hotels that advertise valet parking and don’t tell you it’s nonexistent until you’re there checking in are not worth paying for the stay. Find another hotel. Or sleep in your car. This one isn’t beautiful nor convenient, nor do they care to stand by their own policies. There are just too many other good options ro justify the irritation of staying here.

The service, cleanliness, and condition of the property were all good. However, some of the style choices of appliances in the room actually made it hard to use them. For instance, our shower had no door, just an opening. This resulted in steam drifting throughout the room. Also, the the sink's faucet handle was just a stick. It was almost like a joystick and it was hard to use. One thing that was extremely bad, which the hotel is not at fault for, was the street noise. On Saturday night, we could barely sleep because of loud vehicles and loud music from cars. Maybe they could invest in more soundproof windows?

Nice property, staff, and convenient location that is walkable to many shops, restaurants and activities in downtown KC. One block from Main Street streetcar. Courtyard property is located next to MainSt and 670 and it is noisy throughout the night. Local restaurants get busy early - get reservations! Parking was over $30/Night and hotel bistro was overpriced for its quality of food.
