Enjoy the top floor of the J.G. Peppard House, a beautifully restored Mansion built in 1887.

This opulent Victorian Manor boasts all of its historic glory, and every modern luxury. As you step into the J.G. Peppard House, complete with detailed period furniture, you will feel like genuine Victorian aristocracy.

Walk to great restaurants, shops, Kauffman, Sprint, and Convention Centre and P&L.

The Space:
On the third floor (or "Le 3rd Fleur") a beautifully restored two bedroom one bathroom apartment sits perched overlooking the Kauffman Center with views of Downtown during the winter months.

The cozy "loft feel" space features high end bedding, a luxurious shower and clawfoot tub.

An amazing open space to create memories that will last a life time.

Enjoy the open plan kitchen, eating and lounge area while looking over the downtown vista.

A King Bed completes the luxurious setting in the stunningly designed master bedroom. A daybed and trundle are further sleeping options for your guests.

TV, lightening fast internet, washer, dryer, kitchen full of cookware, and a great private courtyard are all available for your use.

There is an abundance of free street parking right out front.

This venue is not available for parties, but you will find no place better to get ready in luxury and walk to most of Kansas City's best night spots.

***Disclosure on security cameras: this home is set up as 3 separate apartments that have private entrances and all the amenities of 3 flats (kitchen, laundry, etc.) for our guests security, we have a camera in the shared foyer, and one at the rear common staircase. There are no cameras in the private, individual units. They do not capture noise. We also have an exterior camera on the front and rear porch.***

Guest Access:
Guests have access to the 3rd floor of the mansion - which is accessed via a private side door to the home, and is up 2 flights of stairs.

The Neighborhood:
The J.G. Peppard house is located in the trendy Westside.

Great breakfast lunch and dinner options are located within 2 minutes walk.

The Kauffman center and conference centre is just a stones throw away and Power and Light and Sprint Centre is just 2 minutes by car or a 15 minute walk.

It is also just a few minutes away from the Historic West Bottoms - and any antique lovers will swoon in this mansion.

Getting Around:
Walking, Uber and Lyft are your best bets.

Other Things to Note:
I have a nest camera monitoring my front door, side entrance door and the public (common among the three floors) areas for the safety of all guests. No cameras are present in the actual units.

House Rules. No Smoking Inside. Be kind to the neighbors. No Parties. This is the place for paying guests to pre-game before they go to the party, not host a party.

Trip-Related Issues. From time to time, things happen! And when they do, we want the opportunity to fix them immediately, so you can continue enjoying your stay. If any issues come up, please let us know 24/7so we can try our best to fix it right away!

Lost and Found Policy. Did you leave something valuable behind? We want to help! Our cleaning service charges $30 to post anything you left behind back to you.

Early Check Ins / Late Check Outs. Due to our cleaning companies schedule, we cannot accommodate early check ins or late check outs. They often have many rooms to clean in one day, and have to honor the schedule as booked.

Interaction with Guests:
We are available when needed but will not be at the house unless invited.

Basketball Weekend

Westside North was great for our group. Walking distance to tram or other downtown KC venues. Plenty of parking on the street. VRBO was nicely decorated and had kitchen untensils and items we needed for easy meals. Great open gathering area for everyone to hang.

Lovely, roomy and enchanting.

Great place to stay at. Large, roomy, comfortable and located in a very quiet and interesting neighborhood. Host was an excellent communicator. Highly recommended for anyone considering a stay in Kansas City.

Close to so many things!

This house suited our needs just perfectly! The neighborhood surrounding the house was a little sketchy, but we were minutes from so many places to eat and so many activities, and that was wonderful! The apartment was super cozy, and it felt very private and secluded—just what we wanted!

This is the third time i've stayed at this property...it's lovely, very homey, it has a large kitchen open to the living room and a grand scale dinning table to serve dinners on... the beds are comfy...it's a great mix of modern and turn of the last century vibe. management is very responsive via text or email.

Exquisite Renovation of a turn of the last century property. It is period as needed (Eg. claw-foot tub with spa shower in the bathroom that meld well together) and modern when appropriate. Very Elegant. Homey, quiet, And Quite large. The manger, Megan, left a bottle of wine. Very nice touch. Plenty of clean bedding, throws and towels. Kitchen is well equipped and everything functioning. Full size Dishwasher, gas stove and full size fridge. This is a 5 star operation.

Charming Apartment

We are so glad we took the next step to find a wonderful place to stay when we visited in Kansas City. All furnishings were attractive Victorian pieces with pretty floral accents. The overall effect was spacious and tasteful.

Unique, fun property

My husband and I and another couple stayed for a weekend (Friday evening to Sunday morning) at this property. The owner left us a very good bottle of wine when we arrived. Loved it! The property is beautifully decorated and roomy. There are plenty of towels, wash cloths, utensils, etc. for guests to use. The property is located near many fun bars and restaurants in Crossroads, Power & Light, and Westside. Easy access to the streetcar, too. Parking is on the street which is very quiet. Owner’s description of property is accurate in all ways. We loved staying here! Thanks!
