All staff incredibly pleasant - they do an amazing job maintaining plants on grounds and in room, loved seeing healthy, live plants in the room. Perfect selection for breakfast (thank you for having Philadelphia cream cheese!!) , and while beds creaked with every move the blankets and sheets were so soft and comfortable , everything was clean, pool was adorable, and we were lucky to make friends with other guests- fantastic trip. We did the dinner sunset cruise - highly recommend. And you can never go wrong with duval and Malory square!

Property was nice and quiet. Im good walking distance to most attractions which for us was great to not have to drive much. Cute and quaint. Recommend anyone going to the keys to stay at Author's guest house.

Nice stay

The property is nice, clean, and comfortable. Three of us stayed in the Williams cabin. One guest used the fold out couch and said it was comfortable enough. The bathroom is off the bedroom so the extra person had to enter the bedroom to access it. The kitchen had basic utensils, etc. The continental breakfast offered enough selections to make all of us happy. It was a nice place for the price.

Loved staying here. The owner greeted us and was super friendly and helpful. The cleaning staff always did a great job. The area is a little further from the Main Street in Key West, but that makes it more quiet and allowed us to relax.
