Property is very old. Furniture and carpeting are worn. We asked for a different room when we arrived becausevthe carpet was dirty looking. We were given another room with LVP flooring,, much better. Room was clean, but definitely new window treatments are needed. Staff very kind and accommodating. Location was good. This property is an ols style motel.

Good location near the gateway arch to Gananoque. Fast food restaurants and grocery store are close. Maintenance of units leaves something to be desired. Some of our room had been updated - nice newer bathroom and some newer furniture - but the overall impression was old, worn, and poorly decorated (bedding, curtains, lamp shades with cracks and holes in them, etc.) The breakfast was not very good, with minimal selection. The front desk personnel were friendly and polite.

Good overall

Staff friendly and helpful, room clean but not up to date. Outside pool clean, prices high for what you get but in the cheapest around. Continental Breakfast ok. This is not a fancy spot, it’s quiet, it’s outside downtown so you need your car to get to the main attractions.

Surprised by initial old fashion cabin like appearance. Not sure I was going to like it but inside was great. Modern, clean, well presented. Did not like breakfast. Poor selection. Crowded. I was told they are redoing the restaurant which would bring me back.

It's an old-fashioned "Motor Lodge" setup, which was a surprise, but not a problem or a negative. Being able to park 5m from your room door is nice. The room was huge and very recently remodeled to completely modern standards. Breakfast was a little meagre. No meat or potato options. Cereal, bread products and pancakes only. Tim's is across the street if you want a breakfast that's bigger and better.

This property is so misrepresented on this site it's fraudulent. It is a run down MOTEL - you can't tell that from the photos. And while the rooms have been renovated, the location is is on a main highway onto town and not walking distance to anything you want to see in Gananoque. Wyndham has bought up all the crappy motels on the strip....Travelodge, Super8 and others. "Garden view"? Our room, 206, like every room, opens right out to the parking lot. Each room gets 1 muskoka chair that faces your car. The grass around the parking areas was dried out and dead with caution tape around sunken areas and danger signs with yellow gas flags. The pool picture is completely misleading. It's a small pool with a fence around it. We had only one bath and one hand towel, and the staff was helpful in that regard. The hair dryer didn't work. The "Deep soaking bathtub" was about twelve inches deep and small. Very slippery with no water pressure. While cleanliness didn't appear to be an issue...I found a discarded pair of dirty women's underwear on the floor beside the desk.
