Escape to a peaceful cozy lodge on 3.5 scenic acres in La Center, perfect for family stays or group getaways.
This beautiful family home features a spacious kitchen meant flowing into the open-concept dining and large family room. Admire the cozy furnishings and decor, the unique custom-built woodwork and expansive windows overlooking the property and neighboring open pastures. Enjoy sunset views from one of our four decks and relax in the swim spa hot tub after a day of exploring.

Our farmhouse lodge is ideal for family gatherings and relaxed entertaining, offering a peaceful, private setting with scenic pasture views. Tucked away on a paved, dead-end road, the home provides a quiet retreat while still offering plenty of space for everyone to spread out and unwind.

The updated kitchen flows seamlessly into the family room, where beautiful woodwork and large windows look out over multiple pastures. The indoor dining table seats eight, making it easy to gather for shared meals, games, or conversations throughout the day.

The main level features two spacious bedrooms and a shared full bathroom with a shower/tub combination. Upstairs, the entire upper level is dedicated to a private master suite loft, complete with its own full bathroom, a comfortable sitting area, and a separate office space—perfect for remote work or a quiet escape.

Outside, enjoy stunning sunsets from any of the four decks or relax at the patio dining areas while taking in the fresh air and breeze. The outdoor space includes three patio tables with three chairs each and a new swim spa hot tub that comfortably seats up to eight guests—ideal for relaxing after a day of exploring.

You’ll have full access to the home and its amenities. There is a small, partially fenced area at the back of the property marked with a sign—please do not go beyond this fence. The kids` playground is off-limits in the side yard. Barn access is also restricted. We hope to welcome our beloved farm animals back in the near future, and while guests may be able to say hello and pet them, their enclosure is not accessible for safety reasons.

That said, the property offers plenty of open space, where you’re welcome to explore and enjoy the outdoors. We appreciate your help in respecting the designated off-limits areas for your family`s safety and security.

For the past four years, we’ve lovingly self-managed and cared for our family home, and it has truly been a joy to share it with guests. This home is located in the scenic countryside of La Center, a charming small town known for its open spaces, quiet roads, and relaxed pace of life. The area feels peaceful and private, with larger lots, farmland views and farmland animals, and a strong sense of community—ideal for guests looking to unplug while still having convenient access to essentials.

Just minutes away is La Center’s own destination casino, The New Phoenix offering multiple restaurants, live entertainment, gaming, and seasonal events. Downtown La Center is nearby and offers local dining, coffee shops and bakeries, grocery stores, and neighborhood parks. Guests also enjoy a plethora of scenic walking trails, and outdoor recreation throughout Southwest Washington.

While the setting feels rural and quiet, Vancouver is a short drive away, and Portland is reachable for day trips—making this a great balance of a truly country getaway home.

Because the home is located a bit outside of downtown La Center, we recommend guests bring their own vehicle for the most convenient transportation. There is plenty of on-site parking available. Third-party transportation services can easily access the property.

The main floor bathroom is a jack n jill set up in one of the bedrooms, it is still easily accessible from the main hallway.
The loft bedroom does not have a door nor is it an enclosed space, please be mindful of this when booking. Because it has its own restroom & balcony and is on its own floor, it still feels very private.

(TIP: bring warm socks or sandals to walk around the house as it can get a little cold.)

Pet Policy:
-Two pets per stay maximum
-No animals left unattended outside
-Animals must be kept on leash outside at all times
-If animal is left inside unattended, you must put them in a kennel or crate
-Must pick up all dog waste and place in outside can

The home may include a decibel monitoring sensor to ensure that neighborhood noise levels are respected. NoiseAware is a smart home device that measures decibel levels throughout the property. It allows us to respond to noise nuisances without disrupting your stay. Tampering is prohibited.

Security Cameras:
This property has two exterior security cameras. They are located outside and monitor the driveway and the front walkway leading to the front door. There are no cameras inside the home.
-It gets very muddy outside so please REMOVE your shoes outside before entering to prevent tracking mud in the house. This is a common practice for our family and we would appreciate if you help us keep our carpet and floors clean.
(TIP: bring warm socks or sandals to walk around the house as it gets kinda cold.)
-No smoking or vaping inside house.
-Absolutely NO visitors allowed outside of your reservation. If you plan to have visitors, we will charge you a guest fee.
- For visiting guests we charge $35 per person per visit
-We know it`s nice weather outside sometimes, but please do not keep the doors to the house open for extended time to prevent flies and insects from coming inside.

PET POLICY:
These rules are intended to keep our neighbor animals and your pets safe.
-Two pets per stay maximum
-We charge $35 for one pets so for 2 pets we charge $70
-No animals left unattended outside
-Animals MUST be kept on leash outside at all times or only stay within the perimeter close to the house.
-If animal is left inside unattended, you must put them in a kennel or crate
-Must pick up all dog waste and place in outside can

SWIM SPA HOT TUB RULES:
-Jets are very powerful if all are used so please use extra caution.
-Jets are not suitable for children under 10 yrs.
-No swimming passed 10pm.
-No excessive drinking, noise or music.
-Hot tub is not visible to neighbors but noise can be heard so please respect this.
-Fits 8 comfortably.
-ALL Children under the age of 18 MUST be accompanied by an adult and supervised at all times.
-These rules will be enforced and we will monitor the situation.
-Please close the hot tub when not in use to keep it clean from debris and hot. We have a skimmer net available for you to use to scoop up any debris before and after use.

OTHER NOTES:
- This is a heavily residential neighborhood, parties or excessive noise will not be tolerated. If we are notified of a possible party or unauthorized extra guests you will be asked to vacate the property immediately without refund. Our neighbors are quick to notify us or local police if guest disregards rules and city ordinance.
