Located in the highly sought after La Jolla shores...come enjoy Sand, Surf, and stunning Sunsets… bring the whole family for a perfect beach vacation in this coveted community! This 2,000 Sq foot home has two patios with fire pits, jacuzzi , plenty of outdoor seating to watch the waves all day!

Take a dip in the spa or the ocean- this vacation rental is perfect for those who can’t get enough of the water. 

OUTDOOR HAVEN

This charming ocean front villa is a beach lovers dream! Sand, surf, and stunning sunsets… bring the whole family for a perfect beach vacation in the coveted La Jolla shores community! This 2,000 square foot home has plenty of room to spread out.

A private courtyard brings peace to the home with beautiful night-time ambiance from the string lights. The fire pit adds warmth to the space at night. There is a dining table that seats 10 with two extra chairs available. Heat up the grill for an at home BBQ. All of this while still getting peek-a-boo views of the ocean!

The beach is your back yard and there is so much space to play! The luxury spa comes with 3 jet settings and high heat settings. The multi level yard provides options on where to lounge around; whether it's the turf, patio, or sand! The lower level with sand is like your own private beach! This home comes with a private fire pit which is rare to find around here because they're no longer allowed on the beach. Toast some marshmallows for s'mores and watch the surf!

Use caution when accessing the beach via the staircase from the lower yard. Changing tides affect the levels of sand on the beach and, at times, will create a large drop from last step to the sand. The alternate access point is La Jolla Shores beach park, a 2 minute walk south from the house.

Enjoy the use of a stand up paddle board, surf board, boogie boards, beach chairs, beach games, and lots of beach towels. 

All bedrooms have Samsung Smart TV's with streaming services.

Parking for 3 cars on property. Two in the garage and one in the driveway. Parking not permitted on the gravel.

La Jolla Shores neighborhood is highly sought after for it's large, safe beach. It is the hub for all Southern California beach activities; kayaking, surfing, snorkeling, boating, you name it! We are sure that there is something for everyone here.

An expansive, flat beach will be directly in your front yard. This home is just a few blocks from local shops and quaint restaurants.

Once you are at the property, you will be in walking distance to local shops and restaurants. If you're looking to explore beyond the neighborhood, rideshare apps are of high availability. Please reach out to us if you are looking for additional information about rental cars!

Good Neighbor Policy: This home is surrounded by OWNER OCCUPIED homes. While we understand the Primary Renter and guests are on vacation, the home owners are not. Therefore, we respectfully request Primary Renter and Guests display behavior that is becoming of a typical neighborhood environment. Home owners across San Diego are banning together to eliminate the rentals of private homes as vacation homes. Please help us preserve our right to rent by being respectful neighbors.

NOISE/NO PARTIES: Quiet hours are strictly enforced, 10 pm – 8 am per city ordinance. This property has ZERO TOLERANCE for noise, parties or loud music which includes any excessive daytime noise, cursing, yelling or screaming. Fines will be applied for complaints. Drinking games of any kind ie: beer die, pong, funnels etc. and music that is audible past the property line are strictly prohibited. Immediate eviction can result if these rules are broken.

San Diego Municipal Code 59.5.0502 states that at all times; any amplified sound that can be heard 50 feet away from the rented residence is prohibited. Between 10 PM and 8 AM, even normal conversation must be moved inside the rented residence. Per SDMC 51.1004 and California Penal Code 415.2 noise violations can result in fines (Up to $1,000) for property owners and Renters if there are repeated calls for noise violations to one address. Renters will be liable for any and ALL noise violation fines charged to the property owner. Excessive Noise disruptions can result in immediate eviction without the right to a refund of rental fees or security deposits.

Drugs/ Alcohol: Use of illegal/illicit drugs by any Renter, Guest, Occupant or Visitor in or on the grounds is strictly prohibited. Consumption of alcoholic beverages by a minor under 21 years of age is strictly prohibited.

No Smoking of ANY kind: This is a non-smoking property, both in and on the property. A fee of $1,000.00 will be charged for violation of this rule, plus any costs incurred to remove smoke odor or damage. Smoking includes but is not limited to: cigarette, cigar, marajuana, cocaine, incense, or vaping. While Marajuana is legal in the state of California it is NOT allowed on this property.

Properties are subject to exterior patrol by our staff and homeowner. If Renters are causing a nuisance, having a party, acting detrimentally toward the property, breaking the noise curfew or any stated rules and regulations we reserve the right to terminate the rental agreement, without refund, and immediately remove Renters and guests from the property. Absolutely no disturbances are allowed within this home or anywhere on the property premises. We also reserve the right to refuse occupancy if a house party is suspected.

Our neighbors are very, very sensitive to vacation rentals as it affects their right to live in a peaceful environment therefore we will enforce these policies in exchange for the privilege of renting this home as a vacation rental. The City of San Diego has adopted stricter guidelines for vacation properties and bad operators will not be allowed to rent their homes. If the actions of the Renter and their guests are detrimental to our right to rent as a vacation rental we reserve the right to evict and retain any rental fees and/or security deposits and will report abuse to the rental platforms and will take legal action against Renter if their behavior results in loss of permits.

Guest Occupancy:
Occupancy: The maximum occupancy for this Rental Agreement shall not exceed the number stated on the reservation. Only primary Renter and guests accounted for on the reservation are allowed to be on the property.

Age Restrictions: Primary Renter must be 25 years or older. Guests must be 25 years or older. Parents and children excluded.

No Subletting: If Renter can not keep the reservation please alert us as soon as possible so we can assist in re-renting the unit. If the unit is not re-rented and at the rate of the current reservation Renter will not be refunded their rental fees.

Damages: Renter will leave property in good order.
Damage Fee does not cover excessive cleaning; including but not limited to overflowing trash, carpet or upholstery steam cleaning, Linen Damage (Sheets, Blankets and Comforters damaged from, but not limited to, tearing, food, blood or other bodily fluids and will incur full replacement value charges) or damage due to pets, parties or excessive guests in the unit.

If excessive cleaning is needed, Renter will be charged $100/hour, or actual charges, whichever is greater.If area carpets are excessively dirty after check out Renter will be charged a $300 fee for carpet cleaning or full replacement value PLUS any loss in rental income at $500/night.

NO DAILY MAID SERVICE: Daily maid service is not included in the rental rate. The cleaning fee referenced above shall be applied to the cleaning service after check out. If daily maid service is desired it can be arranged for an additional daily fee.

Missing or damaged items will be charged at full replacement cost.

Kitchen: Cooking at high temperatures can result in strong smells that permeates throughout the home and into the fabrics of the home. Excessive odors can come from, but not limited to, popcorn, fish, certain spices etc. Please open windows, use kitchen fans, and be mindful that this is a shared living space. Should a strong odor be detected upon check out, an air purifying fee will be applied.

Check in / Check out:
Per the contract check in time is 4:00 PM and check out is at 10:00 AM. Check in and check out times are strictly enforced, please do not enter the property early without permission. Disruption to the contracted cleaning company’s allotted service time will incur a fee.
If available, early check-in/late check-out fee is $250.
Upon Vacating, Renters and guests will follow the provided Check-out Procedure.

Perfect family Easter weekend
We had a family holiday at this property- while the weather was chilly. The hot tub, fire table and picture windows kept us entertained. Walking distance to restaurants, market, coffee and ice cream The house has everything you could ask for and more!

AMAZING!!!
The set up and location was perfect!!! Stunning views to wake up to, my kids loved to hit the beach right after breakfast and stayed out there all day. This is the perfect get away for a large family. Common areas were well thought out, clean area for the beach equipment, artificial turf so we don't track as much sand in the house, and all the beach toys you need. I really enjoyed our time there and will definitely book again.

Wonderful vacation
We had a wonderful vacation in La Jolla. The house could not have been in a better location. You walked out of the backyard and you were on the beach. Truly amazing. It appears the owners are updating rooms, since the kitchen and Master Bath were recently remodeled. The house is a little older and right on the beach, but it has a lot of character and everything you need for a great stay. We did not need a single thing that was not provided. The house has plenty of space. We had 4 adults and 6 kids and didn’t even use one of the bedrooms. I highly recommend this property.

5 days with best friends and thier kids. Could not have asked for a better experience. The rooms are set up for privacy and loved that each room had seperate enterance. Steps to the beautiful beach and walking minutes to restaurants. Short ride to La Jolla to enjoy shopping for adults and San Diego Zoo for the kids! Love love love this place!

Awesome
The house is on one of the best beaches in the world. Surfing, swimming, boogie boarding, sand dollar searching, seal watching, dolphin watching, Jeff Burgers, walking distance to village, park.... Plus the house is awesome as well. Big picture window, sand area for kids to play above the beach, hot tub, surf board, paddle board..... A joy to stay here
