French Riviera, charming and romantic villa southfacing with a scenery view

Ideally located on the heights, between sea and mountain, this typical southfacing Provencal villa, between Nice, Antibes and Cannes, about twenty km, enjoys a beautiful view of the village Le Rouret and the Provencal forest.
This superb villa of 200 m2 on 2600 m2 of gardens with private pool, offers quality family accommodation, a peaceful setting and absolute tranquility.
Close to a golf course and tennis courts, this family-friendly vacation home brings it all within reach. Jump into your car and make short work of the 6-minute drive to Regional Natural Park of the French Alps or the 5-minute drive to Grande Bastide Golf Club (and enjoy the property's convenient onsite parking in the meantime). After you return, you can unwind by the (heated) pool or sip a drink in the garden and on the terrace all facing south; you may also like the patio and outdoor furniture for 8-12 persons. For a change of scenery, come inside and try the WiFi, TV, and video library. As you settle into this 5-bedroom, 4-bathroom rental, you'll find a dining area for 8 persons and air conditioning in every room. Bathroom amenities include a hair dryer and towels. A home-cooked meal in the well equipped kitchen, complete with an oven, a wine fridge, a double normal fridge and a freezer, as well as a coffee maker, an electric kettle, and a microwave. And you could even pack a bit lighter, as there's a wash machine and -dryer available.
With the local bakery for you Croissant and baguette within 10 minutes reach and a day to to the beach only 25 minutes, you have all the flexibility to choose every day where to go and what to do. The surroundings are ideal for hikes in the hinterland, bike rides, water hikes, canyoning in the Gorges du Loup and speleology in the Vallée du Loup 25 minutes by car.

Fantastische accommodatie

We hebben ontzettend genoten met ons gezin.( 6 volwassenen en 3 kleine kinderen).In werkelijkheid is het huis nog sfeervoller dan op de foto’s! Een prachtige locatie met alle comfort waar we graag nog eens terugkomen. Dankjewel Christa voor de prettige en snelle communicatie en warme welkom! Graag tot ziens.

Das Haus ist sehr schön und ruhig gelegen. Grosser schöner Garten mit Pool und ein grosser Baum beim Esstisch, gibt im Hochsommer auch Schatten. Das Haus ist gut ausgestattet. Das Haus ist gut gelegen, um schöne Dörfer und StÀdte und Meer zu besuchen. Wir können das Haus empfehlen.

Schöner Aufenthalt

Wir waren im Mai mit insgesamt 8 Personen in Le Rouret und waren mit der Auswahl der Unterkunft mehr als zufrieden. Vor allem hat uns der beheizte Pool sehr ĂŒberzeugt, der fĂŒr diese Jahreszeit sehr passend war.

Beautiful house in quiet rural area.

The house was spacious and well equipped. Bedrooms are well appointed and a cosy lounge area for watching TV on cooler evenings. The gardens and pool area are peaceful and have sun beds, chairs and umbrellas. Plenty of space to sit and relax in sun and shade. The heated swimming pool was an asset as temperatures in mid-September started to drop a little. Stefan, the house manager, is very helpful. Just a couple of things to be aware of anyone with any mobility issues, there are no handrails down the steps to the pool level and none into the swimming pool. Otherwise the house is lovely and would recommend for a peaceful holiday.

Lovely apartment, excellent service

The apartment, the garden, the pool and the bedrooms were perfect. In a certain way the pictures on the website “undersell” the property: in reality it (mainly the garden) is even more beautiful than the pictures suggest. Stephane (the house manager) is a very kind, positive and helpful person. The owner is very responsive to any queries you may have. Great stay! (Two families with 4 kids between 6-10 y/o)

Just wonderful....!

We had a fantastique time at Christa's little paradise. The location is very spacious and offers comfortably space for 8 people. Plenty of beds, bath rooms, very well equipped kitchen and large surroundings with terrace, pool, place to play petanque etc. It is very quiet around it and max 35-40 minutes to the beaches of Juan-Les-Pins or Antibes. Very nearby one can go see the pretty villages of Vallbonne, Saint Paul de Vence, Vence and Gourdon. We loved it ! And the communication with the local facility manager Stephane and the owner Christa was very friendly and very enjoyable. Thanks for having us there ! Roger & Family with friends

Heerlijk ruim huis in rustige omgeving

We hebben een hele fijne week gehad in dit prachtige en nette huis! We hebben genoten van de grote barbecue en het mooie zwembad. Het ligt wat afgelegen, maar dat zorgt dan ook voor een rustige omgeving. De dorpjes Mougins, Valbonne en St. Paul de Vence zijn leuk om te bezoeken. Korton, fijne plek voor een heerlijke vakantie!

Beautiful Family Retreat

Spacious and comfortable villa with excellent heated pool...the children loved it. Not the easiest to get to...sat nav essential. The owners were very quick to respond to any query. The village of Le Rouret is approx. a 1.5km walk, uphill coming back so not really achievable with young children. Overall we had a wonderful stay at the villa with trips to Cannes, Antibes, Cap Ferrat, Valbonne and Grasse.

A charming villa in the perfect location from which to explore the surrounding delights

The villa is secluded but not isolated, stylish, without ostentation, well appointed and equipped, with an excellent pool and many outside seating areas. What's not to like?

VERY DISAPPOINTING

PROS: lovely grounds, great pool, good location for day trips, responsive house manager, reliable Wi-Fi, well-equipped kitchen CONS: 1. Lack of cleanliness (dirty toilets, greasy stovetop, oven and fan, dirty windows, dusty surfaces). We were charged fees of 250€ upfront for house cleaning, but the villa was not sanitary. We advised the house manager upon arrival and he had another cleaner come in. It was better than when we arrived, but the the house needs a deep clean. 2. The washing machine did not work half the time we were there. The house manager came twice and finally fixed the problem. 3. We were unable to use one of the bedrooms due to a strong, unpleasant sewer smell permeating from the basement. This room is located close to the kitchen. Also, the shower facet in this room was not working properly and only gave hot water so we could not use the shower either. 4. The villa is difficult to find (even with GPS). The road leading to the house is winding and can be dangerous as it is narrow and steep. Much caution is advised! 5. The villa is located in a seedy neighbourhood. The next door neighbour's property looks like a scrap yard. The road is laden with debris. It is unfortunate that this site does not allow me to post photos to confirm the above. I would be happy to provide. In the end, thank goodness the property manager, Stephan, was kind, responsive and had initiative.

Stunning villa in beautiful location

Absolutely loved this villa. Extremely comfortable and tastefully decorated. Kitchen superbly equipped. Barbecue area excellent. Spent our days lounging around the crystal clear pool. Scenery surrounding the property is beautiful. There a couple of restaurants approx 30 mins walking distance, but for wider dining options a short car journey will take you to other towns. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would love to return.

Wunderschönes, sauberes und gepflegtes Haus mit perfekter Aufteilung!

Wir hatten einen tollen Aufenthalt in diesem schönen Haus! Wir waren 9 Personen (8 Erwachsene + 1 Baby) und das Haus war optimal fĂŒr uns. Es war sehr sauber und die Raumaufteilung war fĂŒr uns perfekt. Jeder hatte seine PrivatsphĂ€re und tolle BĂ€der. Dazu gibt es sogar noch ein GĂ€steWC. FĂŒr das Baby wurde uns vor Ort ein Babybett und Hochstuhl bereit gestellt. Überhaupt ist das Haus super ausgestattet. Am allermeisten begeistert hat uns die KĂŒche: sie ist sehr groß, sauber und perfekt ausgestattet! Es hat uns an nichts gefehlt und wir konnten sehr gut zusammen kochen. Zu erwĂ€hnen ist auch der tolle Aussenbereich. Eine riesige Terrasse mit allem was man braucht (großer Esstisch, Grill, Lounge und genĂŒgend Sonnenschirme). Dazu dann die vielen Pflanzen und natĂŒrlich der gepflegte Pool mit Außendusche. FĂŒr den Pool wurden uns auch hochwertige, große PoolhandtĂŒcher zur VerfĂŒgung gestellt. Wir sind sehr begeistert von dem Haus. Der Kontakt mit dem Hausmanager war sehr gut und wir wurden sehr herzlich willkommen geheißen. (Sogar mit einer Flasche Wein- danke dafĂŒr!) Wir können das Haus zu 100 Prozent weiterempfehlen. :-)

Fantastic family week in this beautiful villa

Wow! Stunning property, everything you need for a fantastic relaxing holiday. The accommodation is well set out with the bedrooms all in their own spot allowing lots of privacy. Superb equipped kitchen. Amazing pool and lounging areas with stunning gardens surrounding the property itself. We were blown away.
