All round great stay

Excellent convenient location, quiet area but central. Spacious and secure car park underneath at a fee with plenty of spaces (bar height 2m which was crucial for our vehicle). Pub and Tesco next door convenient. Very friendly staff. Nice bar area and good breakfast. Rooms clean and liked that we could open the window All round great stay, thank you

We stay here regularly due to the onsite parking - although this seems to always be increasing in cost. Hotel was very nice and staff were friendly. I can’t comment on the free breakfast as we tend to go out for this when we stay - the dining room is usually very busy and we don’t feel the options are that great. Others seem to like though 😊

The hotel was fine for what I needed. I like the Hampton brand and the hotels are very similar. My only gripe was the cleaner or maybe more to the point the person who used the room before me did not clean the toilet pan after use which was not a sight you like to see when you have just come into a hotel room. I couldn't leave it like that if it was me, but people are different I suppose. Otherwise the room was fine and served it's purpose.

This location is very close to the docks. The breakfast is very good with lots of variety. It does cost $20 to park in the garage for 24 hours. The bed we had was very firm and the top white cover needed to be washed.

The only issue I had was that when taking my car to the underground car part the car scraped the floor at the bottom of the ramp. On speaking with other guests they also mentioned this.. no warning signs at all.

The room was surprisingly large - there was no single supplement - it was a double bed room with sofa bed. it was very clean and in good condition; there were indications of cleaning - bed leg veneers were chipped, on edges by vacuum cleaner head use - much as you would expect given the high quality of cleaning. Very impressed by "card vault" to put power to room on/off, first time I had seen/used one (maybe a sticker on it or wall explain use would be useful); but, a great safety feature. There were stickers on computer monitors in reception for Electrical Safety in the Workplace 1989 - PAT testing inspection, but, I did not see any on the appliances in room (kettle, hair drier, TV)? Very large windows with good curtains - one set daylight net the other a heavier sound/light proof set. On my stay, one of the lifts was not working; surprised, a company the size of Hilton group, appears not to have lift engineer service on 24 hour call. As impressed with cleanness/condition of room, as I was, it was then very impressive that this quality of service extended through out the hotel. Staff of the hotel brilliant - friendly, efficient, helpful.

Very much a budget hotel. Everything average: room, facilities in room, service, breakfast. Could have probably spent less on a Premier Inn and rated it higher overall. Their breakfasts are usually decent.
