Great place for two single travelers who pack light

This place is newly remodeled and we had a good stay. It is tiny, even by London standards, and I think it is best suited two people (the beds and the bedrooms are very, very small). I also recommend packing light—you would have a hard time getting a large suitcase into either of the bedrooms, and there would be no room to open it up. It was an easy half-mile walk from the flat to the Tube station. Although the neighborhood is not beautiful or quaint, it was perfectly fine and we never felt unsafe. We could generally make it to most destinations in London by Tube in 30 minutes or so. We appreciated having grocery stores and restaurants nearby. The owner was easy to communicate with and the place was very clean. We enjoyed the doors that opened up to the back yard (except when the neighbor upstairs was out on the balcony smoking, as the smoke drifted down and came inside). As the unit is at the back of the building, it was very quiet and there was no street noise. It was great to have a washing machine (which had a built-in “dry” setting). If you don’t mind being a little ways out of central London, and you want to get a feel for a “real” neighborhood (as opposed to a touristy hotel district), this place is a great choice. I highly recommend it!
