Excellent location close to many London attractions and two underground stations. The service was great. They even allowed us to check in several hours earlier. The rooms are a bit outdated, and the heating doesn’t work very well.

We love this hotel we always stay there when we go to London we go to London about two times a year. We have clients for a few years. The general manager Judith always treated us great and Jake at the front desk is amazing.

The hotel is in an excellent location for getting around town. Staff was very helpful and the restaurant on site is good, except for their breakfast, which was bland. It’s also very near some wonderful Italian restaurants. Rooms were clean and they have a nice lounge area to play games and do puzzles if you have downtime, which we did on Christmas Day, since everything, including transit, is closed.

Lobby was beautiful and staff very accommodating. Rooms were a tad small, but not unusual in Europe. Location was perfect. Close to Trafalgar and Thames as well as Tube stations. Overall, great stay.

The location was ideal. The service was pretty lackluster. Maybe because it’s a Club Quarters, rather than a regular hotel? We were there over the holidays, and had a frustrating experience. After being notified by Expedia, we had requested reservations from the restaurant via the form provided for Christmas dinner several days in advance. We did not hear back, only to be then were notified when we arrived that we did not have a reservation. Having received an automated response to my request email tgat it has been received, I was confused to say the least. Were there no reservations for the time we had requested? And if so, why weren’t we contacted? The manager of the restaurant was very ambivalent about it—he basically shrugged. We certainly understood that things happen, and had he been more professional about it, we would have felt differently, but it left a sour taste in our mouths. The food at the restaurant was pretty unappetizing and very expensive so maybe we got lucky!

Staying at the Grand hotel Trafalgar was very confusing. I received a text to check in from Club Wuarters. I texted back that I was staying at the Grand Hotel. They are 3 different names for the same place--may even be a 3rd name. That explained why the service charge was an outrageous 20 percent of daily rate--to equalized the higher daily Expedia rate for Club Quarters. Expedia needs to clear this up! I like Club Quarters in US--private lounge area with coffee machine, refillable filtered water bottles, printer and conference room for meetings. But I was expecting an updated Grand Hotel from 25 years ago. Essentially no service over 5 nights. A couple of days someone came in to replenish coffee pods and remove trash. I asked for sheets to be changed but they were not and blankets were merely straightened. The hotel location is fabulous. Bus 91 route ends at the Grand Hotel and stops at Euston and St Pancras Stations. Although I usually stay in Russell Square to spend time at the British Museum, but I wanted a Christmas holiday near the National gallery and St Martins in the Field.
