Your Suite awaits at The Edenwild Boutique Inn where Island Vintage meets modern amenities. We care! KING Sleigh Bed + Sleeper Sofa. Water views, Fireplace, Soaking Tub, WIFI, Free Continental Breakfast. SERVICE: If you are looking on VRBO for a vacation rental, I bet you are looking for a place that feels like your own personal island home. But the problem with most VRBO rentals is they feel too much like home when you are doing your own dishes and dealing with taking out the trash. Yuck, that's not a vacation! The Edenwild is different. We are just the right size to feel homey while being large enough to offer you a very private and pampered stay. Oh, and your only chores will be exploring the village, sleeping in, eating breakfast, taking a bike ride, paddling a kayak, and relaxing in your room while watching the sunset. That's a vacation! STAFF: We can't wait until you meet the Edenwild Staff (we call ourselves the Edenwild Family.) Every one of us loves what we do. We try to consider every aspect of your stay from helping you plan your adventures, to how we fold your towels, and even calling the ferry on the morning of your departure so that you know exactly when to get in line to go home. We also value YOUR privacy and we are only here when you need us but never when you don't. I think our wonderful Edenwild Family's commitment to YOU is why our tiny hotel has been rated TripAdvisor's #1 Hotel in all of the San Juan Islands. We hope you enjoy our special take on hospitality and make the Edenwild your island home!
The location is right in the heart of Lopez Village, so it's easy to walk to everything in town, including the famers' market. Check in and check out was a breeze, and the property is very clean and charming. The outdoor space is very welcoming, and you can tell a lot of love goes into keeping the garden and house tidy.
We had a lovely stay on Lopez Island. One thing I would recommend is to update bathrooms. For the older traveler it was a bit difficult to take a shower - no bars to hold on to, and ball and claw bath tub was very narrow, water changed temperature when I would finely get it set and toilet too low.
The staff was very friendly and helpful. The grounds are lovely. It's a great location. There was a little area where sundries are sold. They wanted you to text them what was taken but I had no cell service there. No one to talk to to let them know what was taken. I don't think we ever saw the property manager.
