The front desk staff was not very welcoming. They were not rude, they were not very engaging. The clerk who checked me in just gave me my key, took my card, told me what room I was in, but didn't even take the time to tell me how to get to my room. He did tell the person behind me though how to get to hers....maybe i didn't seem important enough to mention that sort of detail to me??. The reason this is important is because the hotel is a little weird to get around. The parking is all on one side and you can't drive up to or near where your room might be. Also, when I requested a late check out, he gave me a snarky remark about it being a holiday week. I was also really disappointed with the breakfast option. We paid additional money in advance for breakfast. The foods was cold, it was not replenished and the variety was not great. The toilet in our room was very low to the ground and my 6'2" husband (with very long legs) struggled. It also had very little pressure when flushed.....so you would have to BEND DOWN to flush....then sit there and hold the knob down. The bed was TERRIBLE! The frame velt very flimsy like it might collapse at any moment.The matress itself was lumpy in places. We were in town for funeral and were hoping to have a place for some rest....Sadly this was not the case.
