The location of this hotel is great, with easy walkable access to downtown. Rooms were nice and clean. Pool area looked nice although we never used it. Our rate included breakfast but it was a pretty sad buffet with only one person working and often items were out. Their cash price for breakfast is $23 which is ridiculous. I did feel bad for the one worker as they were doing their best and very nice. We stayed here two nights and then moved to the Doubletree in Claremont which had an amazing breakfast buffet for $18. Bedding was also nicer at the Claremont location and they didn’t charge for water. I refuse to be nickel and dimed for water so we didn’t drink the $3 waters in our room at Whittier location but were charged for it anyway. They did reverse the charge when I called but I wonder if that’s standard practice. Overall a decent stay at decent price for the location.

One great thing is I left my phone outside they were great in kerping it safe when turned in. The one negative is we had two other rooms with family for the funeral will be on family member. staying was in a wheel chair with his wife the care giver. It was safe to leave him alone. My husband had to help his Aunt get their stuff and him up to thier room after they waited till we flew in. We were away when they left and even after being ask for help they didn't prvide it. They comp to rooms. However my worry is for future quest booking you might want to clarify if handicap assistance is available. The fact housekeeping is only by request I can understand. I also need get with my other guest to question 2 room charges. I had to do a request for bed charge as the coffee cup in the room leaked from it's covered top all over me and the corner of the bed were I was seating. I didn't want it to stain.

Delightful!

Everything was great!!! Easy parking, smooth check-in, and clean, comfortable room. Great location. Nice pool area with delightful hot tub! Highly recommended!!
