L@@K 2 minute walk to the BEACH and the party street called 2nd Street!
This is a beautifully renovated large studio apartment! It is literally steps from the sands of the beach in Belmont Shore! The unit has been extensively renovated including kitchen, flooring, lighting, and finishes. It has all new stainless steel appliances including stove, fridge and microwave. It also has a newly renovated bathroom with gorgeous tile. It is just a couple blocks from the famous "2nd street" that offers dinning, shopping and a terrific nightlife. There is street parking only.
The property is a well stocked efficiency. Perfect for 1-2 people. I have stayed before with my partner at the time and used to pull out couch. We had plenty of space for both us and out stuff. This time it was just me and the couch was comfortable enough to not mess with the pull out. The location is perfect for a quick walk to the beach. Or a 3 min walk to 2nd street with restaurants, bars, and a rite aid. Street parking is free and I never had issues finding something close.
My partner and I have never been to California before and had to book something quick for a festival we were attending. This spot was perfect for us two as a home base. The place is a little small, but we really didnât need much space as we werenât spending much time there besides to sleep. The neighborhood is very quiet and safe; there were multiple times where my partner and I walked to 2nd street for food and a drinks at night and felt really comfortable. The beach is a block down; one side is a dog beach and the other for the public. It was perfect for dog lovers like us who missed our dogs at home. The parking is a little dicey with street parking but we were always able to find a spot. Overall, an absolutely wonderful and comfortable stay. Thank you!
This studio apartment was listed accurately.
It's very small, clean, and located in a quiet residential area but within 8 mins walking distance to restaurants, cafes and bars and 2 mins from the beach. Kayak rental is available at the beach for $14/hour.
Uber from LAX cost us approx $85 each way. We also used Long Beach Public Transit to get around town. It's reliable and only $1.25 per person!
A small, cute, clean pad by the beach. The couch bed isn't the best but it's in a great spot that has everything you could need and more! I enjoyed my stay here.
Property is in an excellent location between 2nd St in Belmont Shore and the Pacific Ocean! Ability to walk to most places. Perfect size and well planned for 2 people or less.
This is a very small VRBO - with a pullout couch. The TV was very difficult to maneuvered, all we wanted was regular TV!! No dishwasher. No outside seating.
Gerald could have left coffee filters, maybe one for each day. Perhaps even a bottle of wine. The cleaners came at 10:00 am when we were advised check out 11:00 a.m.
Will not recommend this VRBO.
We definitely enjoyed our stay here very convenient location, the beach is a short walk across the street, the place was clean and cozy the only thing is that parking suxz very limited but other then that great place to stay.
This was an adorable studio. It is a block from the beach and 2 blocks from shopping and food.
We worked from home. There is really no place to sit comfortably with a computer. But if you are going to enjoy sunshine and So Cal beauty, it is perfect. Parking can be an issue as the streets are full. You may have to park quite a distance away.
We loved this spot.
The check in process was a little different from what I was expecting. The unit was clean but the kitchen sink, bathroom sink the drains were slow. Shower was nice but bring your own stuff because the bottles of body wash were pretty small.
Iâm writing this review so the property owner knows what is going on.
Parking is a premium at the beach and I expected it to be so be prepared.
Ours was a late flight (9:50 pm) and I must admit I should have contacted Host earlier. As it was, we were not able to contact mgr. that eve. At 1 am the owner returned a call. Manager was very apologetic but should have sent a text or message. Thanks, V & K
It is close to the beach, but keep in mind it is a dog beach. Someone thew a ball toward us, and their dog came within inces of knocking me over. Plus, the dogs are going the bathroom on the beach. There is zero parking, which was nice to see in the listing pictures of how crowded the street is. The studio apartment was small and a bit hard to move around in, but it was tidy. The pull out couch bed took up even more space but was comfortable to sleep 2 adults. The property manager William was very kind and polite. The owner Gerald on the other hand was unprofessional and disrespectful about a misunderstanding of convoluted directions. You will be berated if you irratate him. And yet when he makes errors, it's no big deal. Gerald, you need to change your check in process and methods. You should not demean your renters for what is ultimately a poor choice on your part. I wont even divulge the details of how big of a risk this is to you and your renters. If my review makes you even more irate than before, dont worry, we won't be coming back.
