Welcome to Grand Hibiscus Barbados!

Enjoy relaxing with your loved ones on our large, breezy balcony overlooking the beautiful gardens and pool with views of the sea.

Our condo is just steps away from the beach, dining and all amenities.

Located on the south coast in Hastings, Christ Church, you are in the best location for experiencing Barbados. The Barbados Boardwalk is right across the street that ends at the popular Rockley (Accra) beach.

Our condo is 1450 square feet with two air-conditioned bedrooms and two bathrooms. The living room and kitchen are not air conditioned. French doors from each bedroom and living room open onto the large balcony providing a beautiful views of the property,

There is a fully equipped kitchen, which includes an indoor grill, and a blender to whip up some cool drinks. The unit also includes an in-suite washer and dryer, cable TV with sports and movies, hi speed 600Mbps internet suitable for business and streaming on multiple devices and local phone.

The beautiful gardens and pool are a great place to relax and unwind. The condo is gated and has plenty of parking out front and you can enjoy your own parking spot inside the gated area.

Right next door is Lanterns at Hastings which has everything you need, restaurants, convenience store, shops, food court and an RBC bank.

Within walking distance, you will find a variety of dining from Subway, KFC to sports bars, to five-star restaurants. All major banks, plenty of shopping and full grocery stores are a short walk away.

The popular Rockley golf course is a short distance away and there are other beautiful courses on the island to try.

If you enjoy diving, there are many operators to choose from. Carlisle bay is close by and offers a beautiful beach as well as many great dive sites and snorkeling.

The local bus system is very reliable and can take you just about anywhere on the island. If you wish to rent a car, there are many from which to choose.

Simply perfect!

We spent a perfect 2 week vacation in this peaceful, safe, clean and perfectly located condo. If it is available, choose it with your eyes closed. The condo is bigger than we thought. Cleaning service mid-week. Well-equiped. Wonderful balcony (third floor). Margate Gardens is the place to stay: swimming pool, flowers, hummingbirds... Accra beach is a 10 minutes walk on beautiful Boardwalk. We loved Hastings and we loved Barbados. Great restaurants: Tapas, Naru, Champers and our favorite Cafe Salt. We did not rent a car. Took the private mini vans (3.50 BB $) and a few taxis. Went to several different beaches: Brighton, Carlisle Bay, Dover,... all the beaches were clean (sand and water). Visited Mount Gay (rum tasting), Harrison’s Cave, Andromeda Gardens and loved every attraction but if you have to choose only one, go to Hunte’s Gardens! Many thanks Rod and Wanda We will be back...

This property was excellent. The unit was extremely well stocked. The kitchen had all the basics required. Loads of beach amenities were also available including beach chairs, cooler, snorkelling equipment etc which was amazing and made it easy for us to explore the island on our own in our rental car. The location was walking distance to a wide array of restaurants - from nice beachfront dinner spots to local lunch spots at the plaza next door. Travelling to Carlyle Bay or The Gap was also very easy.Overall - this unit was great and I would definitely stay here again if we find our way back to Barbados.

Rod and Wanda’s place was perfect. The appartment was beautiful, spacious and had everything we needed. The beds were so comfy as was the inside and outside seating. The balcony was a blessing and the breeze sooo welcome. Open the front door and let breeze blow through. Enough fans too. Kitchen better stocked than mine at home. The gardens are so stunning and lovingly looked after and of course the pool .

OMG PEACEFUL, CLEAN, AND AMAZING

Perfect Vacation Escape

This condo in Barbados was the perfect vacation escape with an ideal location. It was spotless, exactly as pictured, spacious, and fully equipped. Conveniently located near Oistins, Bridgetown, and right across from Tapas restaurant, it made exploring easy. The friendly and accommodating host provided a helpful welcome package for navigating the island. Highly recommended—definitely worth a return stay.

FANTASTIC VACATION

I stayed for 2 weeks at this property and it truly felt like home. I did not want to leave at all. The condo was so very clean and large and having the beatiful balcony to sit out on and have coffee or a glass of wine while watching the hummingbirds was absolutely perfect. The location was also terrific as there were so many restaurants to try and if you get a chance go to Salt Cafe for lunch and dinner but reserve first since it's quite popular and going to Art Splash for breakfast was also wonderful.. Rod and Wanda have made sure you have everything you need..from beach towels to beach chairs to drinks in the wine cooler...to toys for the kids and so much more. I would definitely stay here again as its great for a single person or a family and is very safe and secure. The other people in the complex were so very friendly and you will definitely have a fabulous and relaxing holiday. I cannot wait to return. Thanks again Rod and Wanda for giving me a memorable and truly relaxing holiday.

Lovely Apartment

need.The pool area is lovely with comfortable loungers, Most days we had the pool to ourselfs. The locations is excellent you are within walking distants of shops, restaurants and bars. Jemella the property manager is very helpfull and on hand if you need her. I would definitely recommend this apartment. There is also beach chairs for you to use and some inflatable, surf boards and snorkel gear. comfortable loungers in tge kitchen

Perfect holiday home

We had an amazing first holiday in Barbados and Rod and Wandas condo is the perfect place to stay. It had everything we needed and more. We were greeted by Jamilla on arrival and she showed us around and provided all the information we needed to know for our stay. We enjoyed spending time on the balcony watching the hummingbirds and relaxing. We also enjoyed having a dip in the pool and we always had it to ourselves. The condo is in a great location to get to the beach, enjoy the boardwalk and head out for something to eat and drink at the lovely local restaurants and bars, we all gave our holiday 10/10 and hope that we will come back to enjoy it again soon.

Perfect place to stay

This apartment exceeded our expectations . From the outside it was very secure and security arrangements were easy to use . The apartments was huge and very well laid out with good size bedrooms and large modern bathrooms . Lots of towels and beach towels too which were a great help . The kitchen was spotlessly clean and very well equipped with absolutely everything we needed . The apartment was in a fantastic location which was important to us . Very easy to walk to some upmarket restaurants and open air bars with a shop next door for essentials like milk , fruit and ice cream ! The balcony was the highlight of the property and had various furniture configurations for relaxing , eating and playing cards . We loved watching the hummingbirds over breakfast . The gardens were very well kept and the pool was never busy but always clean . Would definitely stay here again and we are already looking forward to it !

Phenomenal! Perfect accommodations (generously appointed with the best deck and many updates in the unit this year), location and weather. A stones throw from the beach, great restaurants (❀Naru), and coffee shops (❀ArtSplash). The owners and management are fastidious and great communicators- all so quick to respond to any and all questions. When it comes to Margate

First time here and will be back!

We were so lucky to stay here for a week and would loved to have stayed longer! Now that we know how great it is we want to come back! Rod and Wanda were extremely helpful from the beginning and always available to provide help or information if needed . They gave great suggestions for places to eat and things to do! They said the location was perfect and it really was! We loved the big porch at condo and enjoyed morning coffee while watching the humming birds . There were big blinds that could be pulled down on the deck for shade or privacy that were much appreciated, and as the condo was on the 3rd floor there was always a nice breeze. The bed was very comfortable along with the AC in the room we had a great sleep every night. The condo was fully equipped, above and beyond. There were beach chairs, lots of beach towels a cooler on wheels and a small library of books that were so useful to take to the beach. Rockley beach is beautiful and just a short walk from the condo. We felt very safe and everyone was so friendly. Lots of frequent buses and transportation close by, but it was easy to walk as well - you could walk to everything you would need. Wonderful stay!

Gorgeous and fully equipped apartment with everything needed for a beach holiday. Hosts were very kind and respond quickly to our messages. Perfect for families with little ones, our toddler loved watching people in the pool from the balcony. We hope to stay again!

Fantastic condo!

We just returned from a nine night stay at this wonderful, two bedroom condo, conveniently located within walking distance of the beach, shops, and restaurants. We had a fantastic time! We especially enjoyed eating breakfast on the extra large balcony overlooking the lush, tropical gardens, and pool with a swarm of hummingbirds every morning! Very well equipped kitchen was helpful as well as the beach chairs, fins, and pool noodles, as well as an abundance of beach towels. We did rent a car so we could visit all parts of the island, but ironically our favorite beach turned out to be Rockely within walking distance down the boardwalk. The air conditioning worked great in the two bedrooms.

Great vacations

The apartment is perfectly clean and everything works well, the bathrooms, the air conditioning and other equipment and the kitchen is very well equipped. Beach items and diving equipment in good condition. The owners Rod & Wanda and Jamella were very attentive and attentive whenever we were well. Very well located and close to everything: shops, beaches and supermarkets. The pool is very well maintained and beautiful gardens. One hundred percent recommended.

Absolutely perfect!

Couldn’t have asked for a better place to stay! Not only was everything clean and ready upon arrival, but the apartment was located in a very central and convenient area. We had a wonderful time exploring the south coast and the entire island. Would stay here again! 10/10!

Home away from home

We had an amazing stay at Margate Gardens. Host was amazing and the listing was on point. Hoping to make this our permanent vacation rental. You can’t ask for a better location, beach right across the street and a small mall next door. Awesome food within walking distance. My family had a blast!!đŸïžđŸïžđŸ–ïžđŸ–ïž

Beautiful Margate Gardens

Margate Gardens was as advertised and more. Clean, modern and in an appropriate location. Close to the beach, food court, groceries and souvenir shopping. We had an awesome time. Apt for staying in as well with the appartment being equipped with A smart TV, accessible pool and balcony with lots of seating for eating or lounging.

Great Property

This was a great property. It was very convenient to shops and the beach. The property was well maintained and clean. We enjoyed the pool and walking to the beach. We would love to stay at Margate Gardens again when visiting beautiful Barbados in the future. The staff are very friendly and the owner was very kind, calling to check on us during our stay. I would highly recommend 40 Margate Gardens when visiting Barbados.

Repeat guests

We are repeat guests, for a reason! Excellent accommodations in a fabulous location! From booking, to check-in and check-out 
. Everything was seamless (thx. Jamella) and so relaxing. The owners are very attentive and it shows in their level of care of the property. The gardens and pool area are beautiful and so quiet. The boardwalk is a real bonus to the area and exposes so many wonderful restaurants and beach bars, all within walking distance. Thank you, Wanda and Rod!
