I stayed in one of the single rooms. It was so beautiful and inviting, even with it being minimalistic. The little speakeasy-esque bar downstairs is really inviting. All of the staff were super friendly. If I could give more than 5 stars I would.
Honestly I really enjoyed this hostel although apparently it changed owners between my booking and staying so it was hard to find. Lol. But this is not a typical bounce hostel, it used to be a Selina's so the facilities are a lot better than you would normally get in a Bounce hostel. The beds were really comfortable and they let you use the facilities after check out which is great! It was sociable in a laid back way which was nice. Would love if they had a rooftop space, and the women's bathrooms were out of order for a day of my stay, but overall I totally recommend this place, and would stay here again.
Good hostel, location is perfect for exploring Melbourne, great transport links right outside can’t really ask for a better location I’d say.
Only downside I found was with the little street beside it at night, it can get noisy with trucks driving up and restocking the local restaurants and cafes (which are really good by the way).
The staff are amazing, really helpful and lovely. I’d recommend and travellers to start off with the pay as you feel walking tour, great way to meet people like you and you find out loads about the city.
Great stay in their private delux, private bathroom, great space, comfy bed, beautiful and friendly staff, 11am checkout was great after a big night out, easy walking distance to bars, restaurants and nightclubs. Cozy bar downstairs next door to Roamer, overall awesome stay.
First of all, this was my first solo trip alone in a country where I did not know anyone. I had made a friend in the lobby who offered to have a smoke with me, and for some reason that triggered all of his friends to start bullying me and I do not know why. They were saying things to me in the elevator saying "ew" and then screaming at me when they got out and everyone on the floor was giving me looks by the end of the day. I have absolutely no idea what I did wrong as I thought I was making a friend and I ended up just getting bullied somewhere where I was already alone. I then got the stomach flu and was continued to be treated like that but had absolutely no energy so I left and booked a hotel. Couldn't tell you how awful it felt and entire hostel is one big clique because people stay there for long periods of time. Worst hostel experience I've had.
