We were excited to stay at the Knickerbocker due to the great location and photos in the listing, but had a very dirty air conditioning unit that appeared to have black mold visibly inside. We reported the condition to the front desk right away and were impressed with how quickly they addressed the problem by completely replacing the unit while we were away at dinner. The rest of the room seemed fairly clean but it had a musty smell.

Great Stay with old fashion charm

I had a wonderful stay at the Knickerbocker Hotel. Check-in was quick and easy, and the entire property was very clean and well-kept. The room had a neat, old-fashioned charm, complete with actual keys, while still being very comfortable and cozy. The bed was excellent, and I appreciated the eco-friendly touches with large bottles of shampoo, conditioner, lotion, and soap instead of single-use plastics. Parking was very convenient with easy access to the lot. Overall, it was a great blend of vintage character and modern comfort—I would definitely stay again.

Beautiful near the lake stay.

Very clean and comfortable. Super quiet at night and conveniently located by the lake. They've managed to keep the rooms and building in great original condition for its age.
