My room was sooooo cold! Only a light blanket on the bed. I ended up sleeping fully dressed in jeans and a sweater, even thought about putting on my coat!

Everything was clean and comfortable. Only nits, were 2 of 3 light bulbs in the bedroom ceiling fan were not screwed in until I screwed them in to get more light. Also left side of bathroom sink was shaking on its support, but not unexpectable in a hotel this old. However, it should be fixed. Room 727. Staff was most helpful in check in and check out. My also need to get more recycling receptacles in rooms or elsewhere.

Room and staff were nice. Location is also great. But my room often stank from smells drifting in the window from a nearby restaurant.. This may however not be an issue in the Winter, because they remove the AC unit so you can properly close the windows. I stayed there at the very end of the Summer season. Was told that the AC unit would be removed during my stay so that I could completely close the window, however, this did not happen during my 3-night stay

I was amazed that our room had a stove, dishes, pots and pans, and a big old walk-in closet. The staff was incredibly friendly. The food options in downtown Milwaukee were a little sparse, but the knick, the attached restaurant, was open until 11:00 p.m. And always helped feed me after a long day at the convention. Next time I'm in Milwaukee, I will look to book here again.

Pots and pans were clean. Very cozy. Overall, super nice stay My one problem was the toilet paper roll right next to the toilet it almost feels like it’s near your elbow If you’re a smaller petite person, you might not notice
