The pool was an ok size and we got lucky enough that our kids were the only ones in there. As far as the rooms—they definitely need maintenance. The shower/bathroom had mold in it, there was only one entrance to the hotel which was frustrating when coming in and out, the room smelled like it had been smoked in and the atmosphere outside—not the hotels fault—was not the greatest. There was a car parked just past the parking lot with the doors wide open, junk falling out, almost wondered if there was someone living out of it. I definitely wouldn’t stay there again for the price we paid just due to the cleanliness.

The front desk staff was usually gone "stripping rooms" based on the note at the front desk. The doors to the rooms are hard to close, if you pretty much slam the door and push them hard to make them "fully" latch, the doors pop back open. When i went to the lobby for coffee in the morning i counted 6 doors that were partially opened. I had to have 2 remotes for my tv, one to turn the TV on and the volume and one to change the channels. The pool was not secure and whatever chemicals they use were burning our eyes and nose. Our room cards were deactivated while we getting breakfast, which then we had to call for someone at the front desk to come help us because they were "stripping needs". Oh and breakfast, hard pass, the sausage patties looked like they were microwaved over and over for the last week. You could use them for hockey pucks. The house keeping left tip envelopes in the room, very tacky and not needed. I will never be back

Absolutely Disgusting! Pubic Hair in the bathroom. The Room had been smoked in by cigar. My guest had a bath in room 219 the plumbing overflow drain leaked to the room below. Extremely Dangerous as lighting wiring is installed in ceiling. The manager confronted my guest and accused him of letting the bath overflow. After inspection it was apparent that there was no water on the floor. It was the plumbing that was disconnected. The next manager accused him again of letting the bath overflow. My guest is lucky he was not electrocuted.

The rooms where manageable & the so called breakfast was terrible. The receptionists were very unfriendly & dismissive. Paid for 3 nights & arrived early at 12noon from Vancouver because I had a hockey game. Asked if I can check in early but they refused, I begged them if I can leave my luggage somewhere until they check me in but they were dismissive & insisted that I pay $50 usd. I pleaded & they later accepted $30 USD & they checked me in. It's not about the money it's just their attitude, very unfriendly. Even after staying for 2 days I went to ask if they have an airport shuttle I can pay for & their response was rude, "call an uber or lift!" & the guy just ignored me. I will never recommend this place to anybody.

This facility has been poorly maintained. There are supplies laying freely about in Customer areas (not housekeeping but think broken lamps and other clutter). The room itself had very poor repairs done, beat up furniture, uncomfortable beds, musty smell, broken window.

Place is shabby, pool is closed but staff are sincerely wonderful and the place is clean even if it is dated. Very worth it as a budget hotel but the images are old because it looks way older in person.

Needs a lot of upgrades…

Our stay was okay. Don’t think we’ll be staying there again if we were to visit the area. Bed not comfortable. Carpet felt damp. The door’s bolt lock kept getting misaligned and not locking. The pool was cloudy looking. Breakfast was minimal. Honestly, the whole place could use an upgrade.
