BEWARE!!!!!!!!!!
DO NOT ATTEMPT TO STAY HERE.
We had a reservation to stay at this property last weekend, on our wedding night. The hotel is supposed to send information in advance on how to access the room, which they did not do. I called the number they provided multiple times, emailed, and sent text messages without response. I called Expedia, and multiple parties tried to contact the hotel, also without a response. I had to rebook a hotel from my car in a wedding dress so we had somewhere to stay. The Expedia agent promised that we would not be charged for the stay, and guess what? We were charged for the hotel which could not be accessed. This entire process has been incredibly stressful and we have not been refunded.
We stayed at the Davidson to celebrate a birthday. We had a nice time in the unit as well as walking around the area. It was very roomy. The place was clean. Directions to get in were easy. I canât wait to stay again!
This place is fabulous. Itâs charm married with style. The rooms are spacious. Nice kitchenette. Linens are nice, though larger towels would be nice.
Beautiful place full of history! Very cozy room as well! We enjoyed very much for a short stay! We will definitely be looking back into it for another stay!!
I loved my stay at the Davidson! It is a beautiful, historic St. Paul property that was clearly restored with deep care. The building itself is quiet. My room had a great view of St. Paul, and the ample windows provided lovely morning sunlight.
I will absolutely return on my next stay in the Twin Cities!
The property is well-maintained, and the area is beautiful. However, the mattress was very uncomfortable. When we did have a room concern which wouldâve been easily rectified, we called the number we were directed to call, and no one ever called back. I tried twice. Both of these concerns are consistent with concerns From past reviews. There are clearly some issues with property management.
Charming place with so much character! Loved the art and the history! We stayed on the 3rd floor, where it was peaceful and quiet. It was a great way to celebrate my husbandâs birthday! Cozy and relaxed on a rainy fall day.
Stay again in the future cause felt like the past.
Stayed for a weekend getaway. The Summit Ave neighborhood is wonderful to walk around. The back yard has a wonderful view of the Mississippi river valley. Although, the grounds could use some attending to.
The two-room suite was very spacious and there seemed to be hidden treasures all over the suite.
Looking forward to staying here again in the future cause it felt like walking in the past.
A very elegant property.
That said, we wondered why the area behind the home, which rooms overlook, was so unkempt. With little effort this could be remedied.
Will we ever be able to use the front door?
That said, a very elegant propertyâŠ
Inside was beautiful and clean. The outside could use a little bit of maintenance around the property. The neighborhood is beautiful and is in walking distance of a ton of restaurants and activities.
