Overall impression was instant family. This home is so comfortable and the scenery and location are absolutely off the charts. Views from the back of the house were mind blowing. The rustic charm of the place is just what we wanted and the off-grid lifestyle felt great to espouse, even if just for a vacation. We’ll be looking to book this place for our trip next summer.

Let me start off by saying that the host was VERY KIND. I have zero faults with them. The property did not however, look much like it did in the pictures on this site. The house was old, and had a very creepy vibe to it. The entry way was literally pieced together with uneven boards and scraps of rugs covering them. The back deck was overgrown and dirty. The compost bin which we were told we had to use was unreachable until the owner came out and hacked a path. The house was gas everything which we didn't like...it had electric, but it was an "off grid" home. So, we were asked not to use it much. The road up to the house was dirt and gravel, which I didn't like. We literally stayed one night and left. We had booked it for a week.
