Welcome to "SeaJoy". This freshly upgraded duplex resides in an established community (circa 1980's), and is quietly tucked away min a prime location of Mount Pleasant right between Sullivans Island beach (8 min drive) and downtown Charleston (12 min drive). If you're familiar with Charleston, you will have heard of Shem Creek. Shem Creek is one of the most iconic row of bars and restaurants in all of Charleston with a beautiful harbor view; SeaJoy is only 1.5 miles from Shem Creek! This home features granite counter tops, brand new furniture (couch, beds, tables, etc), and WiFi. The backyard has a gas grill, privacy fence, a nice sitting area in the middle, and a pond view.
This home is completely decked out with a full kitchen (plates, cups, cookware), linens, towels, a gas grill outside and everything you need for a fun and comfortable Charleston vacation. This home has a king and queen bed sleeping four people as well as a queen sized sleeper sofa with a 5" memory foam mattress in the living room that can sleep two. Upstairs there is a hallway connecting the two bedrooms. Each bedroom has its own sink and toilet but the bathtub is shared. There is also a half bath downstairs. A convenient combination lock on the door means a very easy check in.

Cleaning information: At this property we provide starter "essentials" like a hotel, but we don't have the maids come back each day to restock what was used. In addition to the complete professional cleaning between guests, we provide one bar of soap per bathroom, one small shampoo per bathroom, two rolls of TP per bathroom, one roll of paper towels, hand soap for the sink, two trash bags, and fresh linens for all beds. We also leave one towel and hand towel per guest the home sleeps. We do not provide beach towels.

Parking: There are two parking spots in front of the duplex for use.

The duplex was exactly as pictured and as described. We were pleased with the cleanliness and everything we needed was provided. The location was perfect for our needs. It was only about 20 minutes to the airport and that was the longest distance we had to drive. Most places we went were 7 to 10 minutes drive. The host was very communicative and accommodating. Definitely recommend.

I cannot say enough about the host and this property! Everything was so easy to navigate! From checking in to any questions I had, the host was so responsive and friendly. It made the trip that much better, truly. The place itself was incredibly clean too!! It’s the perfect place to stay if you’re wanting to do the beach and Charleston in one go. My friend and I were there for about two weeks and I will definitely book here again.

Highly recommend this property. Great location, convenient to beach, shopping, dining and downtown. Very quiet neighborhood and we enjoyed the privacy of the backyard. Very nicely done and relaxing. Check in was easy and when we arrived the place looked fine. Then we saw biggest palmetto bug I've ever seen ran by in the living room. It had been raining, so I understand that that can happen. Once we killed it we noticed a few other bugs as well. The host said the property was serviced by pest control. We looked around the house to see if any other bugs were hiding. That's when we saw wads of hair in the corners of the bathroom and bedrooms. It was as if the floors were only cleaned in the center and hair and debris was just pushed into corners. We saw smeared makeup on the walls and doors. The next morning we noticed a dirty rag hanging from the shower rod and the curtain also had makeup and dirt all over it. The shower wasn't well cleaned at all. It had gray green mold all around. I contacted the host and he apologized and said the cleaners would come the next day to address the issues. He told me a bachelorette party was there before us so that's why it was so dirty. I asked to confirm the time the cleaners would come. We set a time and the next morning they did now show. I contacted the owner about 20 mins after they didn't arrive. After a back and forth between him and the company they told him they'd be at least an hour late. We had already waited and did not want to derail our day so we had to just leave and cancel them. As a gesture, the host sent me a 40 refund and said I should go get some lunch. I requested a partial refund and the host denied the request.

Love this little cutie!

Took my youngest daughter to hang out with her big sister for a few days in Mt Pleasant. This house was perfectly situated near everything we could need. Easy to get to Shem Creek, King Street, beaches etc with lots of food and shopping close by. Very clean and safe location. I will rent again!

Amazing weekend in Mount P

We have a really large family and couldn’t fit everyone in the sullivans island house so I went with this property to hold 4 of us and it was perfect distance to EVERYTHING. 5-10 minutes to sullivans, 10-15 minutes to Charleston, 5 minutes to shems creek. The host was really easy to get ahold of, property was clean inside and outside, had everything we needed inside the household which is always a bonus. Thank you, Robert.
