Very clean and nice location in Munich. Comfort wise, it was weird having a split mattress and the pillows were folded which were uncomfortable to sleep on. The heater was always on which made the room very hot to sleep in and I constantly had to leave the window open when it was 0° just to feel cool.

Cons: The blanket provided was itchy and small. The shower needed to be deep cleaned. There was a weird stale smell in the room each time I returned because the key card has to be inserted into a slot by the door to activate the electricity in the room. Pros: A fan was provided which helped with the staleness and the room and bed were larger than expected. The location of the hotel is next to a gentlemen’s club and if I were alone I would not feel safe walking around after dark. The location was close to the main train station, and walking distance to many main sightseeing points.

I liked that it was centric and with a good breakfast. I was however surprised that they didn't have a (mini) fridge nor ice cubes. But staff was kind and professional.

This was a very average hotel, but what gives it a poor rating is the noise outside in the street. One needs ventilation as there’s no AC, so the window has to be cracked open. Shouting, talking and horns through the night. The pillows are terrible. Square pillows filled with old feathers (no longer fluffy). The booklet said to ask for allergenic pillows if required. I asked and all I got was more of the same. Overall the staff were friendly. Probably wouldn’t stay here again.
