1. Room was full of mosquitos from the moment I walked into the villa I killed 4 in 2 mins and this was a constant because of the gaps in the door/window. To add on top of that there is nothing the resort does to help this, except you have to buy repellent from their shop. 2. Fruit is on offer at the breakfast buffet, but has fruit flies on them EVERY DAY, and no one is there to fan them away or even cover the fruit. YUCK. And the chiefs are too slow to ensure everything on the breakfast is available- bacon was not available and French toast was not available (not even hash browns). To top the food section off, it was honestly 3/10- steak was below average and battered prawns was soft as hell - no crisp just soft and stale. 3. Kids playground by the car park has a coconut tree full of coconuts that is a major health and safety! If that falls on someone’s head they could be killed and there’s no excuse if that was to happen.

When exiting the airport all resort employees (even non Tokatoka) were helpful in directing me to the correct area to meet Tokatoka shuttle drivers. Check in was easy and fairly fast. The bell man took my heavy suitcases to my 2nd story room. Room was spacious and clean. AC worked well. TV channel selection was a little limited but adequate. I had dinner 2 times at the resort. The first dinner, a chicken dish was tough to the point of being almost inedible. The next evening I had soup and it was very nice. The coffee shop is GREAT!! Had a Latte both mornings. Over all I would stay at Tokatoka again. It was everything I needed and very convienent.
