Le Arcata à Montesanto est situé dans le centre historique, dans un quartier animé, et dans un emplacement idéal pour ceux qui souhaitent visiter Naples et ses environs: depuis l'appartement, vous pouvez facilement rejoindre les zones les plus belles et intéressantes de la ville, la plupart à pied sinon par l'utilisation des nombreux transports en commun, il est trÚs proche du métro ligne 1 et ligne 2, du Funiculaire et de la Cumana de Montesanto.
L'appartement est confortable et fonctionnel, il est composĂ© d'un grand salon avec canapĂ©-lit et salle Ă  manger et d' une grande chambre oĂč, sur demande, vous pouvez demander d' ajouter un lit bĂ©bĂ©. La cuisine est bien Ă©quipĂ©e avec lave-linge, rĂ©frigĂ©rateur, micro-ondes, cuisiniĂšre, grille-pain, bouilloire Ă©lectrique et tous les ustensiles nĂ©cessaires. La salle de bain confortable dispose d'une douche et un bidet.
L'appartement est Ă©quipĂ© d'un accĂšs wifi gratuit, de chauffage et climatisation. Il y a deux petits balcons et une fenĂȘtre donnant sur la belle cour intĂ©rieure ombragĂ©e du bĂątiment datant des annĂ©es 1700, et rendant l'appartement frais en Ă©tĂ© et abritĂ© en hiver, pas trĂšs lumineux mais parfait pour se reposer aprĂšs une longue journĂ©e de visite Ă  Naples.

Au meilleur de Naples

Accueil parfait et chaleureux de Chiara et Luigi de notre arrivĂ©e Ă  notre dĂ©part. Pour des touristes comme nous sans vĂ©hicule, cet appartement est idĂ©al, bien situĂ© Ă  proximitĂ© de commerces, d’une station de mĂ©tro qui permet d’accĂ©der Ă  la gare centrale et d’un funiculaire qui mĂšne en quelques minutes au Castel Sant’Elmo. L’appartement est trĂšs coquet, trĂšs bien amĂ©nagĂ© et confortable.Il ne manquait rien, jusqu’aux croissants et friandises! Nicely furnished with lots of extras

First, my arrival time kept changing due to a *very* long delay in my flight. Chiara and Luigi took it all in stride and met me at the apartment when I finally arrived and showed me all I needed to know. They also have filled a binder with useful and interesting information. The apartment is as described - it’s an internal apartment, which I thought would help reduce noise and mostly did. However, the entry area is shared with some local shops (they have storage space there) and so it gets a little noisy around 8:30 am. Not horrible but consistent. The apartment is furnished with everything you could need and more. They stock it with some items to get you started including a couple bottles of wine! The area is vibrant and within walking distance of many of the city attractions.

There and back again


Ever dreamt of hobbit life? Then consider this the Napoli Ritz of the Shire. The VRBO description (when we booked) listed free on-site parking that morphed into a daily 30 euro off-site parking fee with limited hours of operation. After some vigorous Google Translate and Vrbo chats, the manager finally agreed to cover my parking fee in a small cave lot 2 blocks away through narrow dark alleyways. The unit is situated at the lowest level of an enclosed 5-story building, completely interior, with barred windows facing a stairwell and a dark courtyard (containing other tenants parked cars). The air conditioning is strong, and the place is well-stocked with a washer, kitchenette, internet, and even a retro PlayStation 2. The bathroom is cozy and the beds are clean. But the lone entryway features an archaic wooden door that opened on each side only by a skeleton key. One morning we were trapped inside for 40 minutes, trying to coax the deadbolt to let us out while feverishly texting with the manager and missing our ferry! The manager assured us the deadbolt had been replaced last year, though why it needed replacing wasn't exactly clear. Location-wise, you're in the heart of chaos but within a reasonable distance of a grocery store and train station. Overall, I was hoping for better parking and natural light, and a door that didn’t double as an escape room challenge. But if you’re car-less, love hobbit cosplay, and fancy archaic locks, this might be a better fit for you.

We had a very pleasant stay in Naples for about 1 1/2 weeks. The property owner was very helpful with details about the property and answering any questions very quickly. The property is very well appointed with everything that anyone would ever need for a pleasant stay and exceptionally clean & orderly. We felt very safe in this apartment. The area was "colorful" and very lively. A very short walk put us in the upscale shops neighborhood so we had the best of both worlds. We would definitely stay here again.

Cute apartment in Montesanto

Great apartment with all the amenities minutes away from the subway, walking distance to many restaurants and outdoor squares as well as several historical sites. The host was very helpful with finding parking garage for our car. Only thing to note, as this apartment is in the city, it is loud, especially if you’re not used to it. Ear plugs recommended. Also, as is often the case in Naples, this apartment is inside the courtyard of the building, there are no external windows so might be claustrophobic for some.

A complete Naples, Italy experience!

Chiara was definitely a super host. The apartment was precious and the location was great if you were planning to use the city transportation system. In the apartment, Chiara thought of everything you could possibly need during your stay including things like snacks, wine, spices, coffee, milk, juice, olive oil, laundry soap, and toiletries. This was a very comfortable space and I would try to stay here if I was visiting Napoli again.

Outstanding Experience!

Chiara and Luigi are excellent hosts! My wife, 3 month old son, and I spent 4 nights at their Napoli apartment and enjoyed our time greatly. I had difficulty finding the parking garage, so Luigi and Chiara met me and drove my car. What an incredible help! During check in, Chiara let us know there was a variety of food and drink items stocked for our use. We enjoyed several of them our first day, since we had little food and were tired from traveling. The apartment is in an excellent location and will make you feel like you are a local. There are many grocery stores around, as well as restaurants; our host kindly provided a notebook of restaurants, tourist attractions, and tips for our adventure, which was very helpful and much appreciated! We loved staying here as well as meeting our host family. Caio!
