Welcome to The Southern Scovel House! Perfect layout for groups! 2 decks! Large rooftop deck with stunning skyline views. Plush linens, plush pillow top mattresses throughout, and with comfy hotel pillows. Beautiful red oak hardwood flooring throughout home. Gas stovetop and grill. 2 covered & gated parking spots. Street parking available.

We have been hosts in the VRBO community since 2015. We own and manage several Nashville homes geared specifically to vacation rentals - Someplace we would love to stay with lots of luxurious decor, plush white towels and organic linens. Someplace in very close proximity to everything we might want to do in Nashville. Someplace with incredible outdoor living space and a stunning view... We hope you love it just as much and we would love to have you stay when visiting Nashville!

2nd Floor: Master bedroom with king bed and private bath; 2nd bedroom with king bed and private bath.
3rd Floor: Oversized 3rd bedroom / Flex space with King bed, private bath and additional full-over-full bunkbed. Also access the first deck from the 3rd floor with large outdoor dining table.
4th Floor is the rooftop deck / outdoor living space with an amazing view... And our favorite part of the house :)

We are here to assure that you have a key code and answer any questions you may have. You will have privacy and the ability to enjoy your own experience with no unwanted interaction.

The Neighborhood:
Nashville is an incredible city to live and to vacation! Germantown / Historic Beuna Vista is one of Nashville's hippest new areas in the city, with its close proximity to downtown and all of the industrial chic restaurants like 5th & Taylor, Rolf & Daughters, and Butchertown Hall... amazing... Because the neighborhood is in a transition there is some new construction, but nothing noisy or disturbing at all.

Getting Around:
You can walk anywhere, even Broadway (and we have!), BUT we suggest a $5 Uber ride if heading downtown. There is reasonable parking throughout the city if you have your own car too!

The house was very clean and well stocked with everything you need. Extra towels etc are available in case you don’t want wash them. The kitchen has everything you need to cook with, because we did cook some. The downstairs is really big and spacious. The top deck has amazing views of downtown. The backyard is spacious enough to play cornhole etc, yes there are cornhole boards there as well! The host is really fast at responding to your questions, she called me before we got there and when we had a problem with the garage door. The 2nd and 3rd bedrooms has closets to hang your clothes. My only complaint is the 3rd floor bathroom vanity is just a huge sink with no where to sit your makeup etc. my suggestion is to move the chair out of the bedroom and put in a small dresser with a mirror. I actually took a small camping table and my makeup mirror from home and used it. We had a great time staying here and will definitely stay here again if it’s available. Just book it, you won’t be disappointed at all!!

We loved this home. It was tastefully decorated and had plenty of room for all 6 of us to sit on the couch and to sit at the dining room table. The kitchen had everything we needed. The beds were comfortable and each bedroom had its own bathroom. There is a big table with plenty of chairs outside on the third floor and one more level up has a wonderful rooftop area with outdoor couches and lights with a beautiful view of the city. It’s only about a 5 minute drive into Nashville. We used an Uber or Lyft most of the time. It was so much easier and cost effective. The hosts are wonderful! Always replied right back to us and they made everything so easy. We would highly recommend this home.

My husband and I stayed with another couple for 3 nights and loved the house. It was in a nice neighborhood/location and we'll maintained. The bedrooms were very large and had one of the most comfortable mattresses I've ever slept on. Communication with the owner was quick and easy. There was a snafu with the garage door but the owner sent someone to fix it within an hour. I'd definitely stay here again.

Such a great place!!!

Everything about our stay here was perfect. The owners were quick on their responses to a couple questions we had, and the check in and out process was seamless. Each couple having their own room and bathroom was great, and the place was super clean and came with all the amenities. It was super close to all the spots we wanted to see (Broadway, Opryland, Ryman Theater, The Gulch, etc.). And after several jammed pack days, having a nightcap on the rooftop deck staring at downtown in the distance made the perfect ending to each day.Highly recommend and would stay here again!

Enjoyed the comfy living room in the mornings before we headed out for the day. (It rained to much for the roof top but would have been great for morning coffee) Bathroom’s have good space for getting ready (all my hair products and lotion) Properly was a short uber ride to and back from the places we want to visit.

I stay in a lot of rentals. This is definitely top 5. Beautifully decorated, perfectly appointed...every attention given to detail! Too bad about snow because the rooftop is TO DIE FOR!! Wow! Glassware, cookware all excellent quality. Bedding, pillows, throw blankets so comfy! Loved the black washcloths for makeup removal that were EMBROIDERED! Love! Highly, HIGHLY recommend!

Nashville New Years Big Bash

The property was perfect for our stay. Within walking distance to Bicentennial Park where we watched the note drop at midnight on New Years eve. The note was also visible from the rooftop patio. Broadway is also walkable so we would walk down then uber back. Would stay again.

Amazing!!!

We were 3 couples, each got their own king sized bed and bathroom. The property was clean, the mattresses were fantastic and we felt very comfortable there. The best party was how easy it was to communicate with the property owners and how accommodating they were with our travel schedule. I highly recommend this property.
