We loved the location and affordability of this hotel. We had a room with an ocean view, it was lovely. The balcony was large enough my family of 6 could app be on it. The staff was very friendly. Unfortunately the response to reuests was quite slow. We stayed for 2 nights. I started calling at 3pm to ensure our room would be serviced with fresh towels. After 4 hours and 6 phone calls we finally got the room cleaned for the day and new towels. We would stay again though. It was frustrating but not a deal breaker.

Clean hotel , great pool bar and restaurant. I would definitely go back. I just wish the pool and bar didn’t close at 8 pm. Especially in summertime. That would be my only complaint, otherwise is was great and the location on the boardwalk was perfect!

My family and I just did a quick 2 day, 1 night trip and wanted to be on the beach. Crystal Beach hotel was perfect and worked out so well for us. The rooms were clean and quiet. Every staff member was pleasant especially the gentleman at the front desk during the day. We were so impressed with the quality of the food at Barracuda it was delicious. We will definitely being staying with them again.

The Crystal Beach is not a bad place to stay but it is becoming dated and soon will need some renovation. When we checked in at 4:00 our room was not ready so we waited a half hour to get in. Even then the floor of the room was not clean and the hallway was a mess. I expect this was a big turnover day but obviously they need more housekeepers. So the 64 dollar question is “Would we stay here again?” The answer is only Maybe.

Love the property. We come here mainly bc they have barracudas We had one issue this summer and our air conditioning wasn’t working. The lady switched our room and all was perfect. Beach and boardwalk right there.

Honestly I don’t know where to start. I am guessing my review will get a default response just like the other reviews that I ignored. First , it took about a hour to check in. The room was dirty, the a/c sounded like there was a truck in the room. Also, I had no house keeping service 3 out of the 5 days I was there. Took out my own trash and luckily had my own towels. I was about to just ask for cleaning supplies. Not to mention anytime you go in the main building there were other guests yelling about problems they had with their rooms. I wasted my hard earned money on this place. Stay away.

Overall we had a great time on our visit to Ocean City. We just got back today. The hotel staffing was friendly and it was right on the boardwalk even if it is a walk from the attractions. We didn't have any problems heading to the desk to ask for linens for the sofa bed. We were greeted and they supplied what we needed right away. Only thing I could say would be a thicker blanket or down comforter for the beds because even adjusting the AC it got cold. We didnt have issues with hot water just once in a blue the pressure, but their tubs and showers are huge. The shower head needs replacing though and it was missing a drain plug to take a bath. The pool got a little crowded when hot, but that was to be expected. The pool with the restaurant bar and grill was a bonus even if they close at 8pm. We loved being able to stay there for hours. They also accommodated ours needs for a lower level room since our oldest Austic son isn't a fan of heights. The room additionally was overall quiet and a easy stay for us. We truly are sad we had to come home, but we had a great time.

My room door opened it without the key!!!! Every time when I came back from outside I can just easily open the door without the room key I talked to the front desk and they didn’t have room for us to switch and some one came to my room just replaced the new battery for the lock but didn’t work at all we were not feel safe for stay this hotel and the property doesn’t offer anything for us just say only you and me know this happened so we will keep our eye on your room make sure no body can get in there I’m so disappointed and was feel comfortable!!! I will never ever stay here again!! If anyone stay this hotel make sure your room locks is working!! 430 room is not safe!!!

We came in around 11:30am and the old white lady staff was so nice and accomodating and gave us a parking pass so we can park our car in the garage before checking in. We came back to the hotel at 3:30pm and the white guy told us to wait until 4pm to check in. The other lady/staff on other side is already checking in people because people are already lining up and he really started working at 4pm to check in people even though there's already a line on the other side and he was just looking at his computer. It's really frustrating.
