El Capitan Ocean Front - 2 BR/2BA 4th Street ON the Boardwalk! Linens Included!

This is a beautiful condominium on the top floor of the El Capitan. It's also an end unit so the natural light (and views) from the additional side windows is a plus. The views of the Ocean, Boardwalk, Pier, etc from the beach front balcony are spectacular! From the upper bedroom you can clearly see Assateague Island and the Verrazano Bridge leading to it. With binoculars or a telescope you can even see the wild horses! This is a split level condo which features 2 bedrooms (1 on each floor which is perfect for privacy) as well as a pull-out couch to sleep an additional 2. It also has 2 full bathrooms complete with a washer and dryer. The kitchen is fully appointed with a dining area as well as a breakfast counter and stools. The living room has plenty of comfortable seating with TV and internet. Our electronic lock means no fumbling for keys or needing to meet with a property manager to check in. A unique code will be provided directly from your VRBO account to access and lock the door during the entire time of your stay. The code is only active from your check-in date and expires automatically on your last day. Very convenient for multiple guests who need access at different times of the day or for the kiddos, etc. We are constantly updating the unit with improvements such as furnishings and we just added multiple USB charge stations all over the condo for all of your devices. We truly want you to have the best vacation experience available so please let us know how we can help.
***Lock update*** As of 2021, VRBO no longer supports any type of lock integration. They will not automatically send you a randomized code. Simply send me a message with a 4 digit number you and your guests will easily remember and that will be your code during your visit. Easy peasy.
***New Update*** We are now happy to announce we provide all linens for your stay. All beds will have new 100% cotton high quality sheet sets and the bathrooms will have very nice oversized bath towels, wash cloths and hand towels. Feel free to bring your own if you wish but why lug all those linens down from home and then lug them back dirty so you can wash them back at home? Enjoy our new service and relax even more during your visit.

Belle semaine ! Endroit bien placé si vous aimez l’achalandage et le bruit. Plage agréable. Hébergement agréable , pratique et bien équipé! Quelques endroits mériteraient une retouche de peinture , mais en gros c’était très bien!

This was the perfect location on the boardwalk. We went down for the music festival and wanted a place where we could walk back and forth easily. The unit is located on the side so we watched tour buses go on and off the beach and could hear the music when we came back early. The host was very communicative and the property was beautiful. Check in was so easy. Would definitely recommend!

Excellent stay! Great communication from host. Beautiful peaceful beach and sunrise view from balcony! Quiet. Easy access to boardwalk and beach strolls, and excellent nearby boardwalk specialties such as Dumsers and Thrashers, as well as restaurants such as Brass Balls, Spain. Yummy and convenient Sunrise Diner in same building has excellent breakfasts and service. Easy drive to W Ocean City and Assateague. Lots of ability to prepare gourmet meals if you’re willing to utilize some camping mentalities of making do, i.e. warped very small pans, (need seriously to be replaced) burners cook unevenly, no blender for drinks or homemade milkshakes from Dumsers Ice Cream hand packed quarts. No worries since our crabcakes, soft crabs, rockfish, and breakfasts of scrapple, bacon and over easy eggs with toast, turned out scrumptious. Beds require replacing as well. Or at least a topper for more support. Quite soft and uncomfortable causing poor sleep for 2 of our 3 occupants. Still this was our second stay here. Would stay again in a flash.

Great location

Top floor corner condo with a great view of the boardwalk. The condo was clean and spacious. Sunrise diner is below and dunkin is close for a quick breakfast/coffee. The parking was great for one vehicle and separate to public parking. Only a few blocks from the pier/amusement park.

The 4th street, 5th floor corner location on the boardwalk, the communication and assistance from Ken, and the views, could not have been better. We were aware from the clear listing there would be steps up and down, between both the upstairs and downstairs bedrooms and the main floor. But it did get tiresome living on a split level for us, especially for my husband with severe rheumatoid arthritis. There was also another half flight of steps just to get to the elevator for the building, making moving in and out of the unit challenging without a cart available until reaching the elevator landing. I want to add that we are not smokers, and are unable to tolerate smoke, so the constant pollution from the frequent smoking by our neighbors on their balcony was very disturbing, since the balcony is so wonderful to sit out on and enjoy the expanse of ocean and boardwalk views. I believe for this unit, smoking is not allowed even on the balcony. I imagine this is completely out of the control of the owner. We have noticed this while renting at various other units as well, except on balconies with full privacy walls. That being said, I still highly recommend this unit and Ken, absolutely. I would only request an easy fix of changing out the lower bedroom mattress and box spring, since my husband and I found the huge dip in the center of the bed, made sleeping quite uncomfortable due to the lack of support. Still overall we had a terrific 9 days in this unit!
