The Space
Storey Lake is ideal for families, just four miles from Disney and minutes to Universal, SeaWorld and other Orlando attractions.
Built around a lake, the Storey Lake resort boasts tons of fun attractions like pool with lazy river, two water slides and splash pad. You'll also have access to a sandy beach area, fishing, canoeing, kayaking and outdoor sports. When its time to eat, grab a bite at the poolside cafe or check out the clubhouse with lounge, a workout facility and business center.

This house is located in a very secure neighbourhood, with 24-hour security and gated fences to ensure privacy and security.

** For safety reasons, we don't keep a BBQ Grill onsite. However, if requested, we can send information to you about renting one. It would be thoroughly cleaned and delivered with full propane. Other rental equipment is also available upon request.
** Towels provided are for bathroom use only. Please bring your own towels for pool, beach, waterpark, or other outdoor activities.
** Trash Bags, Toilet Paper, and Paper Towels: Starter quantities are provided for these amenities, but they may not last the entire duration of your stay.
The vacation home is self-catering, please get additional supplies on your own, as we do not provide more than the initial amount.

The resort is beautiful. The host was very responsive when we needed to add a guest day pass. We paid for the pool to be heated for the duration of the stay. We arrived and it was cold. We were told it was likely just turned on and to be patient. Disappointing. We travel a lot and have always had the pool heated and ready each day that was paid for. We did not end up having pool heat until the 4th day of our stay. Total bummer as the weather was a bit cool & the kids wanted to swim. We never received a replacement light bulb that we needed for a room or batteries for remote.I had to take one out of a lamp so that we had light. Minor things. It was overall a great stay. We will definitely be staying again!

The house wasn’t very clean. Very dusty and most of the air vent were super nasty. Dirty dishes in the dishwasher when we arrived and a very musky smell when we arrived. There was also a big brown spot on the pillow in the guest room downstairs. It was also a little annoying having to wash towels every day because we only had 1 towel per person when the house is supposed to sleep 11 we had 9 people, There were also no wash clothes or even a kitchen towel. While I understand we get the bare minimum, I have never stayed at a home rental that didn’t have at least wash clothes.

This place was exactly what we needed cozy, spotless, and perfectly located just minutes from the parks, but tucked away enough to unwind in peace. The host thought of everything: soft towels, comfy beds, pots pans.The pool was sparkling clean and private. After seeing the attractions it was amazing to come back to a quiet space that felt like home (but better!).The neighborhood is quiet, safe, and close to restaurants, groceries, and outlets everything you could need. Communication with the host (Emily) was quick, friendly, and super helpful.We didn’t want to leave — and we’re already planning our return trip. Highly recommend this spot if you’re heading to Kissimmee or the Orlando area.

The Best Vacation Spot

A vacation that was cut short by the likes of Hurricane Milton, one of the worst to be predicted in history, we could not chance it. In a state of emergency evacuation the host were willing to work with accommodating our change of plans! I can not be more grateful for the concern of our family’s safety under the conditions! Check in and check out was easy and quick responses to every question we had. I highly recommend this beautiful condo that has above and beyond what we needed, and the community perks that are also included that has so much to offer for our future vacation stays!

Poor communication

Everything went smooth until we arrived. We contacted the host letting them know the microwave wasn’t working and they immediately stopped responding. Was never fixed, replaced or even offered a discount. 5 full days with small children and no working microwave. Also dont count on having washcloths or any extra house supplies. You will have to buy alot of basic necessities. Was definitely an overpriced booking in my opinion.

Nice house, listing was accurate

Property was well maintained and matched pictures. We enjoyed our stay. Piol was a nuce size for our group...would be a little crowed if you had 2-3 kids. We wanted to use the large pool...but never got there. Wish there would of been a few more trash bags..I took laundry pods with us and bought toilet paper ..but did not want to buy boxes of trash bags and dishwasher soap to just leave it behind. Check in was easy, close to parks, shops and food.

Delightful Vacation Home!

We absolutely loved our stay here! The booking process was quick and easy and the hosts were very communicative, both before and during our stay. Appreciated the modern look and amenities but especially loved the whimsically decorated kids rooms (with a Star Wars themed room and a Fab 5 —Mickey, Minnie, Goofy, Donald, and Pluto— themed room, not to mention a private pool—who needs to stay on property? The access and straight shot to Disney parks (less than 15 minutes away) cannot be beat. It is also conveniently located near anything you could need but tucked away in the beautiful Storey Lake resort- a beautiful, quiet, and super safe location. We look forward to returning to this home in the future!

Great Stay!!!

Place exactly like pictures. Communication was great. Check in was great. Nice and clean carpets cleaned. Upstairs did get pretty warm versus downstairs that was my only problem but not enough to give a bad review maybe invest in a Solar Panel to block the sun from over the house. I would DEFINITELY stay here again!!!

Great Property

The property is just as described. Perfect for a group of moms and their teenage daughters! We really enjoyed all of the amenities of the unit and the resort. Super convenient location. The host was very responsive to questions and any issues that arose during our stay. We would definitely book again if we were back in the area.

First time to Disney

We had an amazing time. This home was perfect for our family of 6. There was plenty of room. It was more spacious then the pictures. Great location to Disney, restaurants,Disney Springs and there is a Target close by. If you want to swim at the larger pool with slides, it’s a short drive but the smaller clubhouse is closer and we enjoyed it more. You can relax at the home pool on days you want to recover. It has everything you need to cook at home. The communication with the owner was excellent. They answered all our questions very timely.

Family Vacation

The online description was a little misleading. Listed as “new” but definitely was not new. Dirty carpet, marks on walls and water damage led me to believe this was not new. Downstairs master bedroom and bathroom had no A/C during entire stay. Smelly trash bags were sitting on front porch on arrival and continued sitting outside of front door for 4 days. Communication with host was great. Check in and check out was easy.

Great host and great house.

The host was great, every issue we had she immediately send someone to fix the problems. The house was a little dirty some scratches and dents but overall the house was good for me and my family. The neighborhood was nice there is a brand new pool near by, this is great because the big pool was alway packed. I have to say that the host is what makes this house great always answer our questions promptly and resolved any issues we had quickly, we will be renting again with Emily and Kevin. Would recommend them to anyone.

Close to Disney, Universal, SeaWorld

This was our 2nd time staying at Storey Lake. This property is in a good location, as it’s within walking distance to the “less crowded” Community Center. Property is clean, spacious, and owners are very responsive to questions while staying at the property. During our trip we visited Disney for 3 days, SeaWorld, Gatorland and then Universal for 2 days. Disney was about a 15min drive w/traffic, Universal & SeaWorld about 30-45min with traffic. Definately recommend this property for responsible families who are respectful of other tenants vacationing too.

Wifi password provided at check in was not correct. We found the correct one on the refrigerator. TVs were difficult to set up /turn and some remotes were missing - there were limited instructions provided. Location was nice, secure. Walls were a bit beat up and trim and walls could have used cleaning and painting. Overall our stay was nice and we would consider staying here again

Great location and layout

We had a great stay at the property. The pool was small but was perfect for kids. We paid to heat it for the duration of our stay and the water was warm even on cool mornings/evenings. Our kids played it it almost every morning and evening we were there. The layout worked great - plenty of space for everyone, kitchen is large, and enough beds and bathrooms to be comfortable for a group. The hard spaces were very clean (kitchen/bathrooms), beds were reasonably comfortable (except for pillows issue noted below), carpet upstairs and in bedrooms is pretty well worn. Our kids loved the theming in the Star Wars and Minnie mouse bedrooms. It was clear that this was a rental, and there were some details that could be improved. There were plenty of bath towels for everyone, but only 1 hand towel per bathroom, no washcloths, and no kitchen towels. There were plenty of dishes, silverware, and cups/glasses, and dishwasher ran OK, but there were issues with both racks which made it more difficult to use. The downstairs bedroom had tons of decorative pillows but no regular sleeping pillows - but with 6 kids beds upstairs we used a couple of the ones that the kids didn't need. The kitchen was pretty well stocked with pots and pans, but there were no baking sheets and only 1 small cutting board. Many VRBOs we've stayed at have some basic kitchen items available for use (salt/pepper, aluminum foil, olive oil, etc.) but this one did not. None of these were big issues for us, but be aware that you might need to make a few extra trips to Target based on your needs/preferences, or maybe the host will add a few more items over time as this is listed as a new rental.
