Quite a bad stay. Came for a night on business and the wifi was not working. I was not able to get any work done! Quite an unfortunate circumstance. Asked for some money back as I lost money with not being able to work and was denied. The AC also was not functioning properly and my room was quite warm. Very busy and noisy street even with the windows closed I found it hard to sleep. Expensive hotel that is not worth it and does not accurately display amenities. Would not recommend and will not be returning. There are much cheaper hotels with cleaner rooms, nicer staff and functioning amenities.

In such an incredible spot and neighborhood and was really easy to get checked into and was cozy. Close to metro and lots of great restaurants!

We had come for an official meet to the Paris Airshow and the place was not ambient to the scenario. It was more brothel like than hotel accommodation. The accommodation was alright but not great for the price we paid for.

Area is a block from Moulin Rouge, around the hotel lots of sex toys shops present. It's partying area and can be loud during Friday and Saturday night until very late. Otherwise no other major issues.

Our Paris trip

I liked our Hotels it was close to main attractions in Paris. It was walking distance. What I didn’t like about the our hotel , the areas surrounding our hotel. It was too many gentlemen clubs in the areas.

Excellent Early Spring Visit

We had a fantastic room with a full view of the Eiffel Tower and we were located near three different Metro Stations. Room was clean and breakfast was delicious!

Only god part about this hotel was it was super close to the train and moulin rouge which we had very late tickets to go see so it was nice being rifht there. Buuutttt a for location, kinda scary as an American woman at night. It’s filled with sex shops lots of drinking and smoking at night rifht outside you windows. BRING EAR PLUGs!! And an eye mask! You have to keep the windows open and it’s helpful if you keep your door cracked as well to let the air flow in,(which felt dangerous to me) they say they run the ac but I could not get dressed without sweating (the weather was 80 degrees and humid) staff gave us a tiny little fan and told us to be greatful we had he best room, the first two nights, don’t pay extra for the better room unless having a view of the Eiffel Tower is really important to you. Also if they try to give you the tiny fan complain! They have much bigger fans which we got for our second room. Second room was one of the cheap ones ones 3rd floor …. Not different at all other than the view. Just go somewhere else it’ll be mor pleasant I’m sure

I stayed 4 nights with my wife at Hotel le Chat Noir. I would recommend the hotel if you want to be close to Montmatre area. Few minutes away from the Cathedral and a couple of blocks away from really good restaurants. The hotel is next to the Moulin rouge and it has like 3 different metro station in really close. The rooms were nice and decent. Night clubs and bars around the hotel keep people in the streets always so is safe to walk around.

We were quite surprised to find the hotel in an area where there were many , many porn shops and adult entertainment venues. In spite of this, the area was friendly, felt very safe, and was convenient to everything they wanted to do in the area. The hotel is very nice once you get to the rooms. They are modern, clean, and the one we had with a little balcony was great. We are going back again in 1 month.

Close to the Moulin Rouge and close to the Metro! Security door to hotel and 24 hour reception service so felt very safe. Our room had a view of the Eiffel Tower - amazing. Breakfast was delicious with a good selection of food available.

Le Chat Noir is a Gem of Montmartre!

I really enjoyed staying in Le Chat Noir and the vibrant and convenient hood of Montmartre. For the price, the room was spacious and well equipped compared to the last hotel I stayed in Paris. I love the French windows opening to the street. I was in Paris to write and meet with my filmmaking team for an upcoming production... and was thoroughly happy with Le Chat Noir! I also had meetings at the Le Chat Noir bistro below.
