Amazing customer service. Front desk was so helpful at check in. Anticipated my needs and questions before I even knew to ask. Were very accommodating with an early and late check in request. Rooms were great - had both a king suite and cabin and both were comfortable and well-equipped.

I enjoyed having beach access & the shower was wonderful!! The king size bed was super comfortable. I didn’t like the lower rooms guests looking at me all the time while I was on the deck. It was very loud on my first night due to a party with fireworks. I wish that I was told about it. At times the front desk clerk was rude. I didn’t like that at all. I probably will try another hotel next time.

We loved staying right on Parksville Beach. Rooms were newly renovated, with a comfortable king bed, 2 burner cooktop, pots/pans, coffee maker, bar fridge. Was great for a 4 day get away. Lots of restaurants in walking distance. The boardwalk that is there is a great easy walk. We will definitely be back. Can’t wait to see it totally renovated.

Heat wave with no air conditioning

Rooms need air conditioning now when we get a heat waves. Amazing staff as always. Comfortable bed. Less parking due to outdoor renos was annoying. Ice machine never had any ice during our stay. Definitely need a/c in the first building, both units upper and lower we were all melting it was so hot.

I've been coming to the Sea Edge for over 25 years... lol like many of us with our little kids who are now grown... the updates to the hotel have only added to the experience and everything still feels as happy summer memories - as much as ever. The staff are fantastic and the rooms are beautiful!. Love it as much as ever ... and great now for romantic getaways. Free Mini golf too!
