The desk staff were very friendly and ready to assist as needed. The airconditioning did not keep the large room cool. The water was not cold.

Our stay was lovely! It is an older hotel, and it is right downtown across from bars, so it can be a bit noisy at night but overall it was a positive experience. Here are the pros and cons, as i see them: Pros: GREAT staff! Attentive, polite, pleasant. Convenient location, walking distance to restaurants Very clean room Cons It is an older hotel, and the furnishings and fixtures are old, but everything's in good condition The "Jacuzzi" is just a normal, small-ish size bath tub with jets. Not a true jacuzzi. The fireplace is connected to the thermostat, so if it is air conditioner weather and you just want a fire for ambiance, youre out of luck. The room is very small. Not a true suite, but for the price it is fine The tv is small and old, but again, not a big deal in the big scheme of things. Overall, it was a great stay and i would stay there again. Big thank you to the front desk staff, they were all fantastic!

For the most part it was very good. Clean and quiet except maybe for some revellers across the street at the Social Pub. My room was facing the street so it was expected. Parking was included and easy with the King Street parking garage a short walk away. Overall it was great and I would definitely stay there again.

Basic amenities done well.

Continental breakfast was very basic but not bad, a true-to-definition continental breakfast. Rooms were quiet, tv was small and distorted but all we needed was a bed for the night and it got the job done.

The property is definately old, but you can see that it must have shined back in the day. The beds need to be replaced in all rooms. Bathtubs need to be replaced and get rid if hets as they look a little rusty. It is conveneit to downtown, but at night unless in big group, I would feel unsafe.

Free parking in a parkade around the corner, plus a drop-off zone right outside the front door, was appreciated. Room decent. Breakfast was underwhelming and staff could be a shade more welcoming and friendly. Overall fine.
