Stay in elegant style at this spectacular 3-bedroom, 4-bathroom vacation rental house. Set on the Point Pleasant Canal waterfront and just 3 miles from pristine beaches, this home promises a high-end coastal getaway for 6 guests.

The fantastic seafood, great nightlife, beaches and boardwalks that Point Pleasant is known for are less than 5 minutes from this idyllic escape! The open floor plan and water views in the main living area create an airy space perfect for relaxation.
The elegant, fully equipped kitchen features stainless steel appliances, a wine refrigerator, and expansive cabinets to hold all of your cooking needs. Pick up some fresh seafood from one of the local fisheries and whip up a decadent feast. Savor every bite of your meal at the glass-topped 6-person dining table, or at the 4-person table on the deck.

Mix your favorite drink and step outside to relax on the chaise lounge chairs along the deck as you watch boats go by on the canal. As the sun begins to set, gather around the fire pit on the patio to recount your rejuvenating day.

When you're ready for bed, make your way to any one of the 3 luxuriously appointed bedrooms. There, you can rinse off in the en-suite bathroom before crawling into your plush bed for a blissful night's sleep.

Relaxing Week at the Shore

We very much enjoyed our week at this house. It was well stocked with everything we needed and had a beautiful outdoor deck and patio to watch the boats go through the canal. We all agreed watching the boats on the canal was more enjoyable than sitting on the beach. The house was a short drive to the beach (5-10 minutes) and plenty of restaurants and shops.

Just as great the second time around!

We stayed here 2 years ago and loved the house and location. I’m happy to say that the house remains in great shape and is so easy to use. The variety of indoor and outdoor spaces from which to enjoy the canal make this a very special and fun place to stay. Keep up the good work. It’s a wonderful place.

Do not stay here, horrible host and misleading description.

We stayed at this house for one month, there are interior cameras that point to the bedrooms upstairs and the front door it is a complete invasion of the guesses privacy. The house is not ideal for renting at all there is clutter everywhere and no closets to hang any clothes. She also locked the garage as well the description of the house is also misleading there are only 2 bedrooms and a loft downstairs, as well she does not mention anything about the house having interior cameras constantly monitoring what is going on. As well every piece of furniture has a sheet over it with a plastic rubber liner that is very uncomfortable. Also, the grill does not work properly and was not cleaned prior to our arrival the tools to clean the grill were left outside and completely rusted and disgusting keep in mind this was a summer getaway without a grill LOL. The wine cooler also did not work/was not plugged in. Also no towels were provided we had to go out and buy our own. As well the homeowner also manipulated the A/C at night raising it to 85 degrees. The only pro to this house is being on the canal and watching the boats pass and the outdoor setting and entertainment. We were very respectful guests and kept the house in good condition, every time I had to contact the home owner she was in a miserable mood and always had an attitude she was not pleasant to deal with at all! Lucky we took the insurance policy because she try to change us for damages she claimed we did to her property, which we would of had to pay out of pocket. One of the damages was for removing the sheet off one couch upstairs stating that "it needs to be cleaned because the people's body oils were saturated into the couch." Keep in mind she had an unprofessional bed sheet cover that had lint all over the sheet and was an older couch. Beware the neighbors do not like the homeowner as we tried to be friendly with them but seems like there were altercations in the past. Now you thought this could not get any worse it does, after leaving the home the homeowner harassed me via text message, she did not choose to go through VRBO and reached out to me directly. I am running out of space here but I would have liked to include the disturbing message she left.

We loved this home!

We were so in love with this house - it is decorated beautifully and the deck on the canal was amazing. The location was very convenient and the town of Point Pleasant is so nice. We will definitely come back and stay here again in the future. Thank you Michelle for providing a beautiful, cozy, home to rent.

Beautiful relaxing house

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay here. The house is gorgeous, extremely clean, and the kitchen is well-stocked. There is a downstairs porch with rockers and an upstairs balcony with chaise lounges. Although you cannot access the water, you can hear it and watch boats travel by. The beds were extremely comfortable (although we didn’t use the Murphy bed so I cannot say). The landscaping Is breathtaking. Washer and dryer (with detergent) were helpful. Also, beach towels were available which was a huge help as we flew from TX and couldn’t bring our own. The view from the kitchen and dining area is spectacular. We even enjoyed the gas fireplace one “chilly” evening (we’re Texans so anything below 70 is cold!). Loved looking at the historical pictures on the hallway wall. We spent one day in NYC (less than 2 hour drive), one day at Six flags (we just had to ride the world’s tallest coaster), and a day on the Pt Pleasant boardwalk and beach. A beautiful house in a wonderful location. Highly recommend.

The house is luxurious and beautiful, and the canal-side location is spectacular. The variety of boats going by was constantly entertaining and fun. The location is ideal near great restaurants and the beach. I would love to visit again, hopefully soon.

True Gem!

This house was beyond expectation and even more beautiful than the photos. The location on the canal was absolutely phenomenal. Truly special experience to watch all the boats go by. Communication with the owner was also outstanding. Highly highly recommend.

Holiday Retreat

This was the perfect home to spend the holiday with our daughter who lives in Manhattan. It’s easily accessible from Newark and has a train nearby. The house was very comfortable and had everything we needed with a well stocked kitchen. We also enjoyed the view of the water and the proximity to stores and restaurants. Highly recommend this home.

Lovely home with a relaxing deck

From the moment we booked this house as a relaxing getaway from the city, Michele was responsive and helpful for whatever we needed. The house is exactly as pictured, with one exception -- the deck might be even better than you imagine. It's also quiet and secluded enough that you can be in your own zone, and they have every appliance you need to make your stay comfortable. We thoroughly enjoyed ourselves and are grateful to Michele for allowing us to rent their home.

The perfect getaway! The interior as well as exterior of the home was perfect in every way. The view of the boats going by from both inside and outside were absolutely incredible!
