Stunning hotel in an amazing location! So easy to get over to the “Porto” side but also great location for accessing the cellars and park etc of Gaia. The hotel is spotless, very well thought out and considered and has good amenities. The breakfast is worth paying for! The views are great, staff very friendly and we would not hesitate to come back. The only criticism is that it would be good to have access to a coffee machine in room/ in a shared area as I feel other hotels at a similar price point offer this and we did miss this in our stay but that’s a very minor point! Thank you so much for a wonderful stay

Amazingg!!!

We had an amazing stay in River Soul hotel. It was modern and clean and the staff couldn't do enough for us. The view from the roof bar is unbelievable and such a good location for all the best spots around town. We were there for a birthday and they evening surprised us with a lovely bottle of fizz and cake when we arrived back from a day out!! Such a nice touch. Would definitely stay again and recommend to anyone visiting Porto.

Staff was excellent. Breakfast was good quality. Room was nice but a bit small. Washroom facilities were good. Wife uses an electric chair for travelling. There was no ramp from entrance to street and the side walk. The side walk on our side of the street was always blocked by customers off the restaurant up the street. Need a ramp to side walk on both sides of street so yoi can cross road in front of hotel or work with neighbours to make sure sidewalk is left with enough room to get by with wheel chair.

The hotel was beautiful- the location was fantastic, the staff were wonderful and very helpful and the sunset view from the balcony and pool was the best we've seen! Each staff member went above and beyond to make our stay comfortable, and the cleaners were fantastic- our room was spotless. We will certainly stay again! The only thing I would say is that they could do with 2 chairs on the balcony. It's fine as there is another chair in the room, but it's too big to fit both chairs outside. They also offer free luggage storage after checkout which is really helpful.

A wonderful week at this new hotel on the Gaia side overlooking Porto. Very close to the lower level of Luis I bridge so easy to walk into Porto. The views were breathtaking, one you would never be bored looking at. The pool area is relaxing but as you should expect, gets busy and had to wait for sun loungers, however, there are seats too. Breakfast was always fresh and plentiful, a nice way to start the day. Porto is a great place to stay for excursions further afield (we did Braga and Guimarães) but locally the wine cellars a must especially three ports and chocolate (Calem.) We also enjoyed the cathedral, boat trip and tower. Food is Porto is varied and delicious, something for everyone.
