We had a lovely place to stay at in Positano. The host was great and the process was easy. Just a quick walk to town and the beach. Lots of stairs, but definitely doable.
We spent five nights at Casa Ginepro. We enjoyed the beautiful view and the property's location. Communication with the property managers was very easy and clear. We had a private driver from the Naples airport that was excellent and recommended by the property manager. There are lots of steps, but then you don't feel guilty for indulging in all the delicious food and drinks! It would have been nice to have a Kuerig style coffee maker and some more bath towels. We used the tea kettle every day! There were not any kitchen towels or paper towels, but this may be typical in Italy as it was our first visit and not sure what to expect. Our Positano trip as a whole was fantastic!!
After staying in hotels while we were traveling, staying in an apartment was a nice change. It was great being able to do laundry! It was however missing a few essentials like soap & a coffee maker, it did have a kettle & espresso press though. The view from the balcony was beautiful. Read carefully that you will need to climb a good amount of steps to get there!
We had family come in for this stay and I put a few at different apartments. My sister got this one and loved it. She was nervous in advance about the stairs, but when she got there was relieved to know it was only 138 and very doable. And we had porters deliver the luggage from the ferry; so it was no problem.
Really lovely space!
