The bed was very comfortable and the grocery store was convenient. The only thing is there is a lot of steps up to the accommodation so you must be able to do lots of stairs.
Our stay Casa Antonietta could not have been better. Our concierge Giulio was very attentive and was there for whatever needs we had. I would stay there again on my next trip to Positano. The location and view are unmatched!
We stayed here in May and it was wonderful. Giulio was very helpful and gave us lots of information about the area. The views from the patio are incredible, where we enjoyed breakfast in the morning and the Prosecco that Giulio was so kind to have provided for our stay. This property included everything you might need, even a beach bag with beach towels so we could enjoy a day at the beach. Highly recommend this stay!!
This is a beautiful apartment. It is very well maintained and clean. Our host Giulio was excellent - very helpful with our car concierge arrangements and help with our luggage. He also gave us great restaurant recommendations. I highly recommend this apartment and would stay again.
Pros:
The property itself is beautiful. Just like the photos. Positano is gorgeous.
Cons:
When I booked the property through expedia I had intended it for 3 people. After it was booked it only indicated 1 person. So contacted Estate/Casa4Home through expedia. It required an extra 50 euros a night for the third person. This was paid under the impression that a cot for the third person would be provided. When we got to the property no cot given, however the fee was non-refundable since they expected that two people share one bed.
Additionally since we stayed 4 nights, they only provided 1 set of towels each. For a second set and additional blankets, we had to pay extra. (Unless you stay for 6 days).
The main contact that checked us in, was also a third party (not directly Estate4 home) which made things more frustrating and confusing. Additionally when we used the toaster the power went out.
Finally Positano is gorgeous, but the stairs are no joke. When I booked the property I had checked the location making sure it's walkable. But because it's high up (compared to the town being sea level), expect to walk up and down multiple flights of steep stairs (a 16 min walk felt like closer to 2-3 times that). It was so exhausting we decided to skip Amalfi, and only went to Capri (and would only make the walk once down and once up a day). This property's location likely would be hard if you have small kids, or are elderly or have a medical condition.
